In the first post you wrote about Bojan Janic being transferred to Iran. In the Chinese League he's also listed and I saw some stats of his game yesterday. I guess he ended up playing in China or is there more to the story? Are teams allowed to have only one foreigner?

Janic never played for Urmia, They claimed it's a done deal and he was in their official roster but apparently it wasn't true. they never said any details and it seems nobody even cares to ask.
they can sign with 3 foreigners ( 2 on court and 1 on bench)

No !

in 21 century it's very difficult to understand something from Iranian league if you don't know persian language. Once i tried to search something for the teams and players and without any luck.No statistics, no normal english in the site of Iranian federation. Only chanse to understand something is with google translate but this method is also very unpleasant. Have any normal site on english with news and matches from Iran ? I can't believe that so big and rich country like Iran cannot utilize more techical and media help.

Winter transfers
Nico Freriks (Netherlands) ==> Kaleh
Konstantin Mitev (Bulgaria) ==> Saipaand Javaheri released Aleksandar Simeonov (Bulgaria)
apparently Urmia is close to get Toni Kovacevic (Croatia) and Borislav Petrovic (Serbia)
-
Kovačević already played in Iran, to be more accurate in Urmia
-
Why Kaleh playing so poorly? The composition is quite interesting.

Their roster is a little weaker this year, but still they have a good team I rank them 3rd behind only Matin and Barij-Essence. they had some serious problems in setter position and they got Freriks because of that.
Urmia officially got both Kovacevic and Borislav Petrovic. and they both played today against Matin (Urmia lost 3-2) they also have a new head coach from Serbia, Dejan Brdjovic
