    his name is Hossein Amiri, unknown player, no history in national teams (even youth and junior) played most of his career in lower division. I think at the age of 27 this is only his 3rd or 4th season in superleague.

    due to Alireza Nadi's serious injury, Barij Essence was allowed to sign a new player (after the deadline) and they got Rodrigao ! but he was awful in his debut with Barij and they lost to 8th seed Urmia at home and despite winning the regular season now they are on verge of elimination.

    The trio of Fayazi-Piroutpour-Kovacevic destroyed Kaleh tonight. even having more fans in stadium (so called "neutral venue") didn't help Kaleh at all.


    we could have another surprise today, Mizan lost a 13-10 lead in 5th set to Matin. :S both of Mizan's key players Davoudi and Mobasheri got injured in quarterfinal and nobody expected them to put Matin in trouble.

    apparently they missed the rest of the playoffs. even without them Mizan could win the match if it wasn't for bad officiating, Iran Volleyball federation banned both referees for one year because of their big mistakes, (mostly in favor of Matin)
