Will there be a match where Gamova won't scream and make unlikely gestures to her opponents when she scores or blocks them? She blocked Anna and scream at her.. well Werblinska is only 178 tall it would be a shame if she doesn't block her, but looks like she'll never get it..

I really love the way Cannes and Chemik play .
In my opinion . if they don't meet each other early, that would be a perfect final for CL . [well , Fener is one of the best too , but with Leo set , I wonder how far they can go]
Enough for Russian , Only Gamova doesn't make much different anymore when she doesn't have any back up .

They are unpredictable Team. What is so unique in the Team?Well nobody expected Cannes to win this match in turkey against the big favorite of this CL. Their defense was really good and show a lot of patience during the game.
BEfor thinking of final 4 or play off, they still have to won matches in this group to qualify. Hope that they will manage to end the group on first position.What is so unique in this team? I guess they have a good coach who is in charge of transfert for his team. He Know how to use every player and when to send them in the court. They have a great captain who is always giving her best and cheering for her teamates. The girls are get along really well together. And every girl is playing for the team and not for herself. This is really important in the team mentality.And they really work very hard every day.
I can't wait to see their next game!

Ravva was really bad. I think Cannes has to use her back up OPP. MB has to show too much effort and not easy for her anymore.

Yes, She has some connection problems with Apitz, Apitz's setting is a little bit too fast for her, Wopat should get more chance to play. -
Yes she had some conection problem with Apitz but Vakif was every Time blocing on Ravva so it was not easy for her to score, but it permit to the outside to spike with not every time 2 bloc.
It was important to have her on court even if she did not score lot of points. And against Belgrade she was very good. -

I don't know if she was the best in the world, one of the best and most complete player for sure.
She was at her best in 2001/2006. -
Cannes should really try to improve their blocking.. Only 4 blocks in 4 sets it's too little and 2 of them are from Logan.. The MBs have only one each..

She was at her best in 2001/2006.i consider her as the best 04-06, the russian mb (forgot her name) was already in retirement age at that time, zhao ruirui was often injured to be called the best, maja poljak, fabiana claudino and thaisa menesez were still undeveloped so to me 04-06 was ravva as the best mb

She also was really impressive in 2002 and 2003. After her prégnancy she get her form back in 2008/2010.

She was sooo good!!now onto another topic: looking at the current situation now if the finals of the champions leaague is starting today and you are the coach would you make ebata as the starter of a championship match? and would you make her play a long time on the court?

I think Ravva will be ok. In French league Ravva does not play full matches... just one or two sets. So she will not be worn out too much.

Right now I guess I will keep doing What FANG is doing. Starting with Faucett and changing her fir Ebata on serve and backrow and let her in front row if faucett is playing so so. I really like Ebata and I hope that she will keep improving to take starter position.

Fortunate for RC Cannes they have good diggers (libero, OH) because their block does not get a lot of points so the team rely heavily on backrow defense for transition chances. Too bad dig stats are not published. Probably those dig numbers would often be double digits.

Yes 4 blocs is not good, but they manage to Touch a lot of ball that were play by the defense. Also there was a big physical advantage fir Vakif, so it was not easy for Cannes.
I Will be ok if they still win with 4 kill bloc per match but with amazing defense play.
Logan and Ortschitt really play well in defense in this game. -
Congrats. to EcV...they made some easy mistakes sometimes but won in th end...Larson has to improve her attack...Caprara should replace her sometimes..Nilay's sets are low!!!
Congrats. to Cannes...(i didnt watch the match thinking that Vb could win at home and watched Volero-EcV match) bravo to Cannes...they almost lost to Partizan and Piacenza but they could beat VB at home....interesting team indeed... they have good players,good bench and good team-spirit..
