    Fenerbahçe Grunding can beat both Vakıfbank and Dinamo Kazan..


    Eczcıbaşı vitra seems to have a better chance than Volero and Cannes but Volero is a dangerous teams.If EcV cant show their best anything is possible..some of EcV's players like Larson,Neslihan can play better and this can raise the level of the team on the other hand Volero seeems to be at its best shape at the moment and likely to decline in terms of shape..if the keep that form then either EcV or Volero can advance to f4..Cannes doenst look very competitive for now (exc VB match)..


    i cant decide which one can advance to the f4 amongst Moscow,Busto,Piacenza and Azeryol..ı think either Azeryol or Piacenza..

    VakifBank can and i think they will defeat Kazan, they are hungry for revenge!
    And the second match is a home match for Vakif so lets keep that in mind too.


    Vakifbank can also beat Fenerbahce, fenerbahce will definitely play with all their foreigners Kim Lucia Bauer Lo BiancoMonatno and of course eda and Merve. But Vakif will also play with all foreigners Sheilla Vasileva Costagrande Rasic and De Kruijf so these rosters never played against each other yet so lets wait and see.



    Prostejov is not a little opponnent for me when we know that they defeated each opponnent in the pool once.

    though i am a big Fenerbahce fan and we are playing much better at the moment, i have a feeling that we wont make the F4 unfortunately.
    Vakif seems more solid and experienced than us. But if Kazan makes a suprise and beat Vakif then i think we have a chance for F4 :roll:

    imo,Fb is also as experienced as VB....Vb's advantage will be its block..Vb is a better blocking team than Fb ( Leo-Bosetti-Elif etc..) on Vb's side every player is solid blocker :white: ...when it comes to Fb its not like that.Fb's advantage will be its attack : Kim-Montano Vb doesnt have solid attacker like that duo....Both teams have a deep roster..both Gözde and Lucia are not in good shape ( due to tiredness,injury)

    This is the part that gives me no hope against Vakif.. We did a good team but we forgot about blocking side.. Leo is too short and also in general we dont have good blockers..
    Maybe if we play with the power of our fans, we can try untill the last point but i really dont think so.. Voleyball is not the game for suprises.. it is not like football etc.

    I agree. The good part is both teams could not find their best line-ups yet and keep playing with different players. However on FB's side, middles are not scoring well either. Both Rasic and Robin are massive scorers if reception is well. Dicle is developing but still bad in attacking, Bauer is underperforming. Eda is a question mark, she is a very good attacker but seems injured and never got back to her old shape. I think Kim+Montano are better than Vasileva+Sheila. However the third spikers will effect the game a lot too and I see the chance of Vakifbank higher with easier side-outs, considering their middles and Leo's block height. I'm sure Fenerbahce will be locked and be forced to make double substitution everytime a spiker+dicle+leo are in the front row.

    If your service is quite well and block defense is working than it is not important if kim montano duo is better than vasileva sheilla duo.


    Lets wait and see in 2 weeks they will play against each other live on NTVspor so maybe we can speculate after this match better :)

    if Fb can serve well then they can beat VB..very likely..Vb has good block but Vb doesnt have kind of spikers who can attack over opponents blocks maybe sometimes Vasileva so this mean even though Fb doesnt have a great block they can stop Sheila-Costa-Gözde with "normal" blocks..when Vb is not allowed to play over midles they dont have a super power other than that.Fb with a good game is fav.


    about Kazan.....VB can beat Kazan but Kazan is a good team, has got enough experince for this level too and they know how to play in crucial matches so it wont be that easy for VB to beat Kazan even in Istanbul (still VB is fav ..the revenge will be an important motive for them) remember VB-Cannes match , a Cannes even Serbian youngsters was about to beat :whistle:

    I dont agree on that at all. Spiking over blocks is not possible at that level. The only person with a block disadvantage is Lo Bianco among two teams and people can spike over her. I don't think that even Kim can spike over Naz/Sheila-Rasic block or Montano over Vasileva-Rasic block. However Fenerbahce's spikers can do block outs from sides but never forget that all Vakifbank players are primarily educated for a high block discipline. Fenerbahce's biggest advantage is serves, they are the best serving team in the Turkish league far a head of the rest. Vakif should either receive well or attack excellent from 2 and 4.

    If Eczaci manages to the play off 6 they will definitely play against Volero, and Volero is getting better and better... We know how they defeatet Eczaci in Istanbul and we all know how they were close to 2-2 in Zürich.

    Fisrt i don't think that's a true info about her reach. She does reach high but not 330 cm. She stands 183cm and Foluke is 191 and Foluke reaches 331cm so i don't think she jumps almost 10 cm more that Akinradewo. Also Hooker's reach is something around 320 or something and I also don't think Montano reaches higher than that.


    Second, hitting over such a high block can be seen in very few situations. She has to be on the spot in thr right moment and blockers had to had been already in the air.. I am sure Guidetti toght them how to block a high jumper, they have to wait a little.

    a shorter player can jump higher than a tall one sometimes (fe.some legendary Cuban players) so MOntano can maybe jump higher than those two ,at least than hooker......other than that i agree with you..
