Absolutely right for some unknown reason ( at last !!!! ) Merve realised that one of her dutys is to recieve the ball instead of watching it to touch the ground congrats for unexpected win but still i don't trust this team only thing is stable is Eda rest looks like it can fall down at any minute

Sheilla is sick, she have a headache, Feaver and sore throat

She told that on Facebook.. I don't know if it's true... Sheilla are not good this season.. in final phase i expected more from her.. but in the games she had very up's and downs.. perhaps she could do more for Vakif today... I hope that she comeback next week better.. Vakif already have chances.. depends own himself.

Champions league is much more valuable but still better than nothing to say the truth other than that i strongly believe that everybody underperformed this season, results are nice but game quality is very low for such quality that is another fact

Sorry but that's not making any sense, why don't you say?: Abbondanza could not get the CL title this season because he lost against a team with with similar budget (Vakif).

Congrats Fb, a big adavantage before the second week in Ankara but our road to the title is still long, we should get at least 1 point from Vakif in the next match.
Nothing is working well in Vakif, maybe just their block, Gozde as a receiving Opp could have been better than costa.
Eda is a real leader of her team . Not the best Kim today but she is still making the difference.
I don't know what happened to Rasic, i'm watching a different played after the CL Final4.

Sheilla was good in the beginning of the season playing for Vakif, but in the past month she was one of the worst players in the team. Not sure if Guidetti wants to keep her in the team for the following year.

Sheilla and Guidetti seems to be very close... I think that the main problem in Vakif it's in a position four.. Vasileva it's not like De La Cruz, Natália, Kim, Kosheleva... Vakif needs to sign with a better OH.. someone who can kill the balls... Kim Hill will not be that player.. She needs fast balls... Naz have some problems to setter the ball to Sheilla and Kim Hill ballls are more difficult...

I agree with that, but Sheilla is not playing well too... Maybe because her connection with Naz is awful. If Vakifbank sign with Kim Hill, they'll have so many problems (I am sure about!). Hill needs really fast sets from the setter (and Naz definetly can't do it because it is not her style) and if they decide to transfer Hill, she will play like she did in Sopot with Belcik as a setter.

IMO Vakif need a strong OH and then, maybe, Sheilla can play better.

i think Naz's sets to Sheila are not ideal for her but not awful as well.i know you like Sheila but under the circumstances VB needs another OPP an european one maybe. I mean if sheilla and Naz dont have a great connection then can we say that it will be better next year? however Sheilla's contract is not going to expire ( if im not mistaken) so she will be in Vb for another year if Vb doesnt terminate her contract

I am not a big fan of Sheilla. I think she fits Brazil NT and I think that she's not playing well in clubs since 2010/2011, which it was her first season playing for Unilever. I think that Naz doesn't know how to set as fast as Sheilla needs and I am not saying that Naz is not a good setter (actually, she's one of the best IMO). I said that the set was awful because she knows that it is not Sheilla's style to attack some kind of balls and she keep insisting on it.

Anyway, I think that VB problem is not only Naz and Sheilla connection, but also the OH... Sonsirma is playing well now, but she wasn't very regular. Costagrande still with so many up and down in her game. IMO Rasic was the only one who was really good and playing as Guidetti expected.

i expect more from such an experienced opp like Sheilla,regardless of the quality of sets..

i agree with you on Rasiç....except her performance in the finals..i wonder if Guideti can start with robin instead after rasiç's performance....robin-kübra..i think he wont give up using rasiç..

If Sheilla stays in Vakif one more year i will not expect anything from them next season. To be honest i hope she will stay there (as an Fb fan) .
She is a great player but Vakif need an Opp like Brakocevic.
If the news are true (Hill to Vb, Gozde leaving the team and neriman replacing her) i think Vakif is getting worse and worse. Gozde is the most important player in
Vakif and no one can replace her.
Guidetti and the managers should be smarter if they want to win something next season.

It doesn't really matter which foreigners Vakif picks up if Naz does not play better. Naz, at her best, is the "kingmaker" in Turkish league.

Vakif had advantage over other Turkish squads because they had the only world-class local players (Naz & Gozde), so it didn't matter if other clubs had world-class foreigners such as Kim or Calderon because Vakif still had such a huge advantage.

Naz has had a poor season (she has played many years with little breaks - being local player means she gets WAY more matches in than foreigners in Turkish clubs) and Gozde is maybe getting not feeling inspired 100% of the time. This makes Vakif very beatable as it removes their only advantage.

I agree with most comments on Naz. I think she should be exhausted considering that she had to play all the time. On the other hand, Gözde had a good chance to rest throughout the season.

I think it is not Vakifbank that is not trying to keep Gözde in the team but it looks like Gözde is tired mentally and wants to try something new and Brazil looked like one of her goals. Kim Hill is coming to Vakifbank to replace Gözde. To me, Naz has been giving fast sets to Gözde when she had the chance but on the other hand, she also gave her high, slow tempo sets time to time when the reception is bad. I guess Kim Hill will be able to manage those sets.

Looks like Naz is underperforming because there is noone else than Gözde and the middles can kill the ball in Vakifbank. So Naz can't use variation, when she does her spikers fail. That's not motivating at all. Gözde is meant to be a defensive OH and Vasileva or Costa to be attacking OH but the latest 2 are not doing their duties at all. Noone attacks from zone 6 except Gözde either and all of these make Vakifbank's game vulnerable and easily readable.

Lets see how the season ends but Hill & Neriman duo replacing Gözde & Vasileva can work very well. The only concern is reception in that case.

I agree about Naz, but i think Cagla did a good job coming on yesterday.. She defended every ball and picked up every tipped ball, also did some good sets to Kubra.. Cagla should go and play as a starter in some team next season IMO.. 20 years old is a good age to start playing as a starter

I really don't know what Guidetti is doing... He's gone crazy lately... Vakıfbank has been like Japan in defence for many years but now the team is like Japan in attack as well And with "technical" players the team made 29 mistakes. We could not reduce the numbers of errors since the beginning of the season but that's just too much.
