    This is a historic first cup for the Thessaloniki team.

    PAOK Thessaloniki with the title in Greece! They won the final series 3-0, much more easily compared to the semifinal drama with Panathinaikos, winning 3-0 also in the third final playoff against Olympiacos in front ot 10 000 spectators at home. It's their first title in this millenium.

    Actually, this is their first championship ever. And it is their second title overall, since they won the Grek Cup earlier in March.
    PAOK is the new power rising in Greek volleyball and I am looking forward to see them compete in Champions League.
    I believe next year's championship will be way more interesting. Olympiakos and PAOK will be strong, Panathinaikos solved most of their financial problems and Iraklis will play in A1 again.
