Both setters are ignoring Lowe tonight. Hill looks tired already set Lowe..

Li Yingying performed so well today =)
-
Such a difficult victory. USA's performance (except maybe in the 5th set) was so much better than the last match.
Now the pressure is all with the US. If Netherlands manages to beat them we will secure a spot in the semi!
-
Way too many sets to Position 4. China's Opps have been underperforming whole match.
They are also being used as receivers. Meanwhile USA's Opposites..
-
the better team wins. when the us can't get to the middle, their ohs just can't hang with zhu and li.
-
I thought USA gave a good performance, they were just overwhelmed in the end by the Chinese hitters and made a few silly mistakes. Good news for them is they know a win with 3 points tomorrow will take them through,
-
this should have been 3-1 in favor of the USA...again Carli was just too predictable and made a lot of unhittable sets.
-
That error by Adams for 9-6 was 1) the dumbest thing I've seen on international level in quite a while and 2) the final nail to USA's coffin at least for today's match.
So it's gonna be do or die for them tomorrow vs NED already.

Li Yingying performed so well today =)
she did. but she also got blocked at least 3 times, and is a liability in backrow.
-
Jenny is so good at the match.to change players,to change the tempo.kiraly ia always moaning loudly when usa get a point.this time he forget to take a breath
-
Congrats to China..Li Ying Ying reversed the momentum in favor of China
i started from the third set and the Usa team appeared to win however they couldnt keep up their game at the fifth set..China was simply better at the fifth set..Usa stopped Zhu Ting but Ying Ying appeared with her kills and serves
Larson,Hill and Foluke played well..Kelsey as libero did a very good job
-
folks, stop picking on adams' error... yes, it was a bad mistake but as an MB you are always expected to be very aggressive on those overpasses. she performed so well all day... the US had many other mistakes, but the worst is really the coaching...
-
she did. but she also got blocked at least 3 times, and is a liability in backrow.
better than larson on both counts... in this game anyway
-
and in less than an hour... SRB x JPN. when do i get to sleep????
oh well, i wasn't planning in watching this match but i woke up in the middle of the night anyway...
-
li yingying is better than larson in defense/passing????? really?????
-
what i envy in the Chines team most is the rate of errors
yes.they control errors very well. if we watch some matches when chn VS netherland, we know china has fewer errors. thats why they won the semifinal in rio

Such a pity that USA collapsed at the end! I wasn't rooting for a team specifically, but I was hoping for a very fought tie break (after a quite fought match)...
Tomorrow is obviously crucial for the USA: a 3 points victory and they're in, a loss and they're out.
But I noticed now for the first time that the order of the matches is different from the other pool: the two firsts (Ita and Ned) both have the 2nd and 3rd days, but USA and Serbia (both third) have different days (as Japan and China, both second). That's really really strange to me. I thought the order was decided accordingly to the standings...

Maybe it's to make Serbia and Japan play first

I knew this would be a very very tough match for CHN.
Bravo for both teams: USA changed the strategy and pushed their middles to the max; CHN is not doing very great on error control today, but they never gave up. Love this match!

li yingying is better than larson in defense/passing????? really?????
larson received so badly... she may be better than li in defense/passing, but the usa didn't expose li that much in this game
