    As much as i like Cannes as a club, but i have to say: big congrats to Nantes to end Cannes' french league winning streak (no idea how long it was) :thumbup:

    Cannes defeated but it's not a surprise
    1) Nantes got a good team
    2) Many problems in Cannes side : only 2 good hitters yesterday (Faucette and Onyekweje), a so-so reception and moreover, many players (Apitz for example) who were quickly exhausted ...
    So the game this week vs Piacenza could be very tough for RCC ;(

    Why is not Ebata playing? IMO she can play as Oh as well and could make better job than Tom or Bursac. Cannes needs Grotheus too much.

    Cannes still need time to improve their game play. Nantes is almost the same team as last year, they Know each other well whereas Cannes is a new team and they are all playing together just for 3 weeks now.
    Faucette is starting very strong. Best scorer of the league so far and always great % in attack. Hope that she can continue that way.
    Apitz needs to work on the connection with her spiker.
    Logan is out of form. She can't spike. But her serve is still really good.
    I guess Fang still didn't figure how to play with Ebata. She can't play as opposite right know cause Faucette is doing a great job. She can't play as outside hitter cause she can't receive and right now the team can not receive with only 2 players.
    The team really neess grothues to come back. She will be really important in back row.

    Yes Cannes, needs more time to improve their team-play.. I think they will eventually and on time.. Logan is having big troubles killing the ball, although she has been hitting it hard much more than she used to, this last couple of seasons.. She even got frustrated about the times she was dug, so I think she'll work on that and improve it.. Grothues is needed not so much in reception because Bursac is doing a good job, but she was a good attacker for Cannes last season and of course will be a great addition to their passing line

    Finished watching RC Cannes vs Beziers. RC Cannes played well after losing the first set and won 3-1.


    Faucett with 19 points in the match, 36% attacking. She had trouble getting kills in the first two sets. She made many errors and got blocked. She got better in set 3 and 4.
    Ebata went in for Faucette for a few points in set 3 and 4.
    Ravva didn't play. Wopat in her place.
    Onyejekwe was on fire in the first two sets. She was hitting 87%!
    Tom looked good. 15 points in the match, 11 of 23 attacks and team-high 3 blocks. Some nice digs. RC Cannes went on serving runs on her serve also.
    Bursac 10 of 12 attacks! She replaced Lazic in the match.

    There is something odd with the stats though. Impossible Tom had only 4 kills and 10 attempts in the match because I watched her score at least 5 kills in half of set 3 alone when Cannes came from behind ?(

    Yes, exactly my thoughts. But i also watched only the second half of the 3rd set.
