Suprises of 1st leg:
CSM Targoviste 3-0 Azeryol Baku
Viteos Neuchatel Universiteti 2-3 Galatasaray Istanbul -
For me Wiesbaden beating Muszyna was a big surprise as well. Wiesbaden started very badly into the season, winning only 1 of their first 4 matches, and that against one of the very weak teams of the league.

someone must have made lots of mistakes in this stats sheet
-
Actually simply everything is calculated x2 for some reason. Look at the number of servers for example, the match score is 107-103 pts but the teams according to this had 214/206 serves.
-
so after corrections it should be:
Nantes: Ramos, Marcelle (24), Gauthier-Rat (11), Harms (23), Druenne, Grant (8 ), Ungerer De Carvalho (L) and Vandesteene (11), Stojlijkovic (1), Barborkova (1), Bland (1), Foucher (1)
Khimik: Politanska (4), Silchenkova (15), Kalchenko (10), Chernukha (20), Kozlova (10), Drozd (13), Stepanchuk (L) and Tomic (1)btw. we have some known names here interesting that Bland is only backup here and we have Barborkova too and Kozlova came back to Ukraine, I remember her playing in Cannes 2-3 years ago, I see that later she came to Proton and she didn't play in last year...
-
I remember that the correct stats were there on the day of the match, I'm sure I checked them...
-
Azeryol vs Targoviste is now live on Idman TV: http://www.idmantv.az/canli/idman-canli-yayim.htm
Azeryol's coach only speaks Russian and Zhidkova in every time-out has to translate for the other players
-
What a serving streak from Kanthong, from 12-17 to 25-17 Now Golden set will decide...
Azeryol's libero is quite good...I don't think I ever watched her before.
-
Anybody else watching Muszyna-Wiesbaden? Liz Hintemann is a nightmare
-
Muszyna is leading 24-15 and Maribor's coach takes the time-out

After getting a yellow card for asking the time-out too late at 23-15

Right Btw, I thought Maribor would play a little bit better. -
Iza Mlakar needs to go to a better league ASAP, she has everything to become a top player. Athletic, powerful, good technique...now she needs a coach who makes her better in some details and she needs to compete on high level constantly.

Does someone who watches Maritsa-Schweriner ?
-
Yes. And watching what has become of Denise Hanke makes me want to cry
-
I think that Maritsa Plovdiv showed very good play despite the terribly weak bulgarian championship. While Schweriner is leader in much more quality league. I hope so that you Matthias will share your impressions from Maritsa play and players. Which player impress you more or something like that.Probably they will loose against this quality Schweriner team but the most important thing is the experience which they earn.
-
I can't watch until the end but of what I've seen so far I agree that Maritsa does a very good job. Bogmatser and Teneva provide the necessary experience, both liberos are solid, Sabkova is a good OH that could surely play in a better league. Both MBs seem decent but lack a bit of height to be top players (according to CEV site Dimova is 191 and Grigorova 188 but they look much shorter to me). I think Maritsa's problem is OPP position, the short girl who plays there IMO is the weakest player of the team.
By the way, it's quite funny that in every time-out the lines have to be repaired
