2015 FIVB U23 Asian Championship - ? / Philippines - 5/1

  • i was able to watch games earlier. it was quite interesting to note that philippines won over a much stronger team in kazakhstan. this young team would still grow i believe.

was rooting for chinese taipei earlier but japan was just too strong for them. and i think, the team gave up already in the 4th set. congrats, japan!

Chinese Taipei star Chen Tzu-Ya was the lone player to contribute in double digits for with 11 points, 10 of which came from attacks.

Muraleedharan Shyamala Poornima exploded for 30 points to help India outlast Iran 3-2 (22-25, 25-16, 19-25, 25-20, 15-9) to set up a duel with Chinese Taipei for fifth place on Saturday.
