    The third set was easy prey for Uralochka obviously. But as Natalia Goncharova said after the match Moscow - Krasnodar: "Krasnodar with or without Kosheleva is not the same team". So it is an huge issue for Krasnodar, that their top attacker can't play due to ankle injury (pretty sure). And by the way: it was totally superfluous to take risks regarding her in the Challenge round of CEV cup, because Krasnodar needed to take only two sets in Stuttgart to proceed to the semis and they would have done so pretty sure also without Kosheleva playing in the first two sets. Our team simply couldn't stop them. I can't tell, when her ankle began to hurt again heavily, she vanished indeed after the first two sets in Stuttgart in the cabin and had a massive issue with her ankle after the match when leaving the hall (more carried than helped by two other Krasnodar players than).

    According to Konstantin Ushakov, Krasnodar's head coach, she's still recovering and won't play today.

    There has not much changed for Russia since last season. The only difference is, that third place in championship will not result in fix CL berth, but only go into CL qualification rounds - but due to the quality like the clubs from Istanbul it can be considered safe, that the third place will suffice to qualify for the CL.


    I.e. after the semis the finalists will get the two fix CL berths (most likely/due league round Moscow and Kazan) and the winner of the losers in third place match will get the CL qualification berth, the fourth gets a direct CEV Cup qualification (Krasnodar got one by winning the national cup already) and 5th team behind (don't know, if this is played too for places 5 to 8 now), currently Zarechie Odinzovo will get Challenge Cup qualification.

    Today semifinals of Russian league, Moscow vs Krasnodar started right now (just that Laola thinks it starts in 30 minutes :wall: ) and Kazan vs Uralochka at 17.30 CET. Streams on Laola and tvstart.ru

    No way Moscow will finally win the league playing like this
    Only Obmochaeva all the time...

    Krasnodar won't have a chance if Kosheleva does not play.. Anyone know why's she's not playing? Quite boring match almost all balls go to Goncharova
