Montreux Volley Masters - 2016 | 5 | 31

  • How could the official broadcast ever embed the player list of the Chinese team as such, with No. 7 mentioned as "None"... what's the heck :-) lol

They also mentioned the wrong coaching member as the head coach here, An Jia-jie, at the beginning of that broadcast

just watch again the replay... what to call this kind of accuracy? Definitely not a Switzerland quality :-)

“There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen.”

  • In the Swiss team the bright spots are the 17 year old OPP Maja Storck who is clearly the best attacker of her team and L Thays Deprati. Apart from them, the team is quite poor :S

Looking forward to Thailand's debut later, they have most of their main team there but I think Serbia B can give them a hard fight.

  • What do you mean her history?

The first time she played for her NT she was unknown and most of the chinese girls who saw the match thought "who's this handsome girl who looks like a boy?" and fell in love with her. Now she's very famous and many girls want her hair cut... ^^

  • It's amazing how much difference Tomkom makes for Thailand. Pornpun did a very good job in OQT and conquered the starting setter position, but it looks like Tomkom really wants it back :super:

And it's shameful how Serbia gets outblocked by the Thai dwarfs (no offense)
Busa is weak in all elements, I suppose she can say goodbye to NT after this tournament. Djerisilo and Molnar are not even shadows of what they once were, Molnar at least still provides stability in backrow. I think Malagurski should play as OH...

  • Who the hell is this serbian setter?! She is awful...OMG
I've never seen her before, where does she play?

In the first two sets it was Sladjana Mirkovic, setter from Serbian 94/95 Junior NT. She still plays in Serbian league. Now Radenkovic is on court and it was about time indeed...

  • I just can't believe the service mistakes at the end

I have no idea what Terzic sees in her.. He even took her in Romania after she got sacked from her club in Italy. Since last year she is given too many chances and on the other hand Rankovic is not. Liljana is much better in all elements, maybe not such strong attacker, but for sure very smart one

  • I can't with the players getting old :( Turkey now joined Germany and Poland in generation change.

And I have to admit it just feels unreal not to watch Kirdar, Eda, Neslihan, Skowronska, Werblinska, Kozuch and so on.

So basically Europe is left with Russia, Serbia, Netherlands and Italy for now :( And by the time there were 7-8 strong european teams. Hope something will happen with these girls ;)
