I completely forgot to open this topic. As usual I'm following the championship. Criollas de Caguas are clearly favourite for their third title in a row. Ponce, Mayaguez and San Juan will probably fight for a place in final.

Actually 6 teams qualified: Criollas de Caguas, Leonas de Ponce, Indias de Mayaguez, Capitalinas de San Juan, Lancheras de Catano and Gigantes de Carolina.

Who are Andrea Drews, Tara Muller, Shirley Ferrer and Jetzabel del Valle?
-
-
Andrea Drews in a left handed opposite. She played for Purdue University. She's a scoring machine and key player for Indias de Mayaguez. Maybe she may sound more familiar as Annie Drews.
Tara Mueller is good wing spiker, who has played in Europe (France and Switzerland). She's having a really solid season with Orientales de Humacao. She player for University of Nebraska in her NCAA career.
Shirley Ferrer is one of the rising stars of portirican volleyball. She plays as opposite and this is her best season. She has been really consistent so far, leading her team every game.
Jetzabel del Valle is the star of portorican volleyball. She's all-time leader in blocker, with 1000+ blocks. She plays as middle blocker. And when they need her she still joins the NT at the age of 37.

Capitalinas de San Juan are in final. This is their first season in LVSF.
Criollas de Caguas lead their semifinal against Leonas de Ponce 3-2.
-
Crollas de Caguas are defending their title in final. They eliminated Leonas de Ponce after 7 games (the same as last season!).
They now lead 1-0 against Capitalinas de San Juan. 3-2 in the first match. Haley Eckerman joined the franchise form San Juan for the final, since Tiana Dockery got injured. She played 7 match in a row aganst Caguas with Ponce, now she has played already 1 with San Juan and at least she has got 3 more games ahead. It must be a record 11 (at least) games in a row against the same team.
