CEV Champions League 2017

  • R u serious ?(?( so according to you they dont target the worst reciever in order to avoif the worst attacker from getting a pipe :rolll:

Berger is actually the better attacker than Zaytsev though. :what:

It's been that way for the last 5 months or so in Perugia.

Favorite players: M: Maxim Mikhaylov, Murilo, Serginho, Aaron Russell, Otavio, Simone Giannelli, Ivan Zaytsev, Tsvetan Sokolov, Michał Kubiak, Mariusz Wlazly, Pawel Zagummy W: Sheilla, Zhu Ting, Natalia, Fe Garay, Fofao, Gabi, Thaisa, Foluke Akinradewo, Wei Qiuyue, Ding Xia, Carli Lloyd, Fabi, Natalia Goncharova, Yuko Sano, Saoris Kimura and Sakoda

  • Zaytsev has been the shadow of himself the whole season. I agree: Berger was a better spiker than him this season. Ivan was affected mostly by the position.

  • I'm trying to figuer out why is Blengini constantly putting Čebulj on service while he can't serve over the net? I noticed this in group round and both playoffs

  • OK, I understand Zaytsev isnt having the best season but today he is inspired, way better than Berger in attack and Blengini is letting him to spike without reception

  • Zaytsev and Perugia turned to their normal play. Only Atanasijevic is unstoppable right now.
Kovar and Candellero are carrying lube. Sokolov also starts to play. Juantorena is still not there. If he starts to play it will be over for Perugia. Also Grebennikov is putting a subpar performance

Zaytsev makes more errors with his attack than Berger. I think Blengini knows controlling Berger is better than letting him out of loose. That would create spaces for Zaytsev and Atanasijevic when Berger is part of the attack.

Aaron is unfortunately perugia's best attacking option from the left side so can't do nothing about it but to hope De Cecco gives Zaytsev the balls so he can be accustomed by the block.

Favorite players: M: Maxim Mikhaylov, Murilo, Serginho, Aaron Russell, Otavio, Simone Giannelli, Ivan Zaytsev, Tsvetan Sokolov, Michał Kubiak, Mariusz Wlazly, Pawel Zagummy W: Sheilla, Zhu Ting, Natalia, Fe Garay, Fofao, Gabi, Thaisa, Foluke Akinradewo, Wei Qiuyue, Ding Xia, Carli Lloyd, Fabi, Natalia Goncharova, Yuko Sano, Saoris Kimura and Sakoda

  • Where is Grebennikov? Bari is outplaying him

Ofcourse when both Zaytsev and Berger is literally carrying all the reception load away from Bari. 30 to 10 vs 20 to 10 for Jenia and Lube. :white:

  • Berger 33%, same s*it, different wrapping :gone: check reception numbers... if Berger recieves De Cecco is using MB's more often then when is Zaytsev recieving  that's the point! Not who is better attacker :win:

That would make sense if only Zaytsev could maintain his attack point-error ratio. In reality, Zaytsev is not being efficient when you account all the errors.

Favorite players: M: Maxim Mikhaylov, Murilo, Serginho, Aaron Russell, Otavio, Simone Giannelli, Ivan Zaytsev, Tsvetan Sokolov, Michał Kubiak, Mariusz Wlazly, Pawel Zagummy W: Sheilla, Zhu Ting, Natalia, Fe Garay, Fofao, Gabi, Thaisa, Foluke Akinradewo, Wei Qiuyue, Ding Xia, Carli Lloyd, Fabi, Natalia Goncharova, Yuko Sano, Saoris Kimura and Sakoda

  • Zaytsev is truly a beast outside of the spiking department though. That Sokolov block. :obey:

  • Podrascanin is playing like a boss today :super:

Somehow i have the feeling that Christenson is a bit out of rhythm with his attackers. This and the serve have to be fixed quickly otherwise it will be over....

  • Blengini missed tactics with leaving Zaytsev without big load on reception, Juantorena doesnt exist, Christenson doesnt play various combinations...remember, last week Trentino - Perugia 3:0, Lube - Trento 3:0

so far MVP is Podraščanin :box:

    Ehh... That cannot be...

According to the set 3 statistics... Ivan actually had the biggest receiving numbers among the three receivers... He's like got more tha half and he did pretty well at passing.

  • Juantorena is slowly getting in there in the attack but like the rest of the team his service and block are not working.
and I love how Juantorena and Zaytsev can't score against each others block
What is Atani ? Antanijevic? :sos: Really ?
