I think Pinheiros' coach is trash as a person, but their team this year may actually be good once again after being so weak last season. Bárbara is surprising me as an OPP and seems to be improving more and more, as well as Maíra and Milka, both of whom I have high hopes for. I actually really like all the other players too (Mimi, Tanya, Ju Paes and Ananda) and hope they do well.

I was a bit surprised once Suelle left the team out of the blue, but now I'm glad she left because if gives more room for the younger girls, who very much deserve to play more. The battle for the fourth place in the semifinals between Minas, Bauru and PInheiros may actually be entertaining this year.

I still think Osasco will fight for the first two spots honestly. I would agree with you about Minas, but my only concern is: who the hell is gonna receive in that team besides Léia? If Jaque had signed with them, I'd sure as hell put them in third.

Thanks for posting the videos of the matches. I was watching Renata-Praia Clube....my goodness Renata had a few really tall players, especial one of the MB. She must be over 6'6. I see Praia Clube being one of the top 2 teams. With
Fabiana being on the team I think it's an extra bonus.

I don't know how to convert to US measures, but they have the tallest player in Brazil, Carla Souza (1.97cm).

Valinhos is a weird team. They have two 1,97m MBs, but then their OPP is 1,76m and one of the standouts in their first match was a 1,69m OH.
