pietersen is playing well...plak contributed well

Zhu Ting already 50 attacks (25/50) and it's just 3rd set...
-
Unbelievable how they've thrown this set down the toilet
-
Dutch serving is a nightmare. Beliën, Slöetjes and De Kruijf.
-
Hui Ruoqi has been pretty stable in this game.
-
dutch team making simple mistakes lost the set..
Pietersen and Hui played well in this third set -
NED should have already won this in 3-0, IF they were smart enough to realize doesnt matter how many points lead you have, the set only ends at 25.
This kind of thing really pisses me off....I don't even care if NED looses now.

Unfortunately for the Dutch, you can't train experience

The same for China, most of their players are still young..
-
Congratulations to Serbia and China for advancing to the finals!
Netherlands to play for Bronze against USA.
-
Those silly serve mistakes screwed them. Lonneke was totally out of shape the whole time. They clearly had a couple of chances to win but it was themselves who blew them away. I don't even know what Beliën did today.
-
Yesssss China! I was right with my prediction for the finals.
-
If u have a 10-4 lead, u can't loose the set, u just can't.
If China wins will be the same thing Brazil did in London.
But I know Serbia will win
-
China won tonight thanks to the monster match of Zhu Ting and her 33 points. And the excellent serve of Hui that made China came back from great gaps on the score in first and third set. But it's worrying for theirs the uselessness of their middle blockers and their weakness in reception.

Key players and coach is what truly matters. The Dutch folded like wet paper.
-
Everybody said the gold was USA's to lose and they did
Now it's Serbia's turn to lose the gold. -
But it's worrying for theirs the uselessness of their middle blockers and their weakness in reception.
i cant even see a stable receiver in China...including Hui Ruoqi after the injury, her reception goes up and downs...

i actually think china won thanks to their blocking. they didn't have many kill blocks but saved most balls to allow for counterattacks whereas dutch blocking failed to stop the chinese most of time. the dutch kept going to pietersen and then plak who kept them in the game. but they were just not sustainable. with sloetjes under-performing, they just couldn't match zhu ting and co's firepower. i'm a bit disappointed at sloetjes' performance. she simply failed to step up at the most important game of her career. and i think she's peaked as a player. at the end of the day, i think china's the better team. the odds favoured them anyway. now serbia is different story. i expect the best blocking in the world to slow down zhu ting and china not being able to keep up with boskovic and mihajlovic. serbia in 3 sets.

Yesssss China! I was right with my prediction for the finals.
YESSS, my prediction is right too! But the match went too close for my heartbeatsSIGH, how SPORT TV 5 stop broadcasting women's volleyball after BRA was gone
Anyhow, bravo the CHN team, may each fiercely battled match harden the young team even more!!

Btw this is Jenny Lang Ping's third olympic final as a coach.
She'll definitely be able to make a difference for China, though Serbia has been performing (way) better indeed.
