    Rykhliuk definitely is a good opposite, but she always chokes on important matches. i think rahimova is a better choice than her.

    So now that barun is in modena. i hope they get rid of ferretti. retain bosetti, marcon, heyrman, and leonardi. although neriman and belien are both okay, i hope they replace them, im thinking aelbrecht. belgian duo and i love her energy, and would love to see her play with gozde. two very emotional players. whos a good setter for modena?

    she declines pesaro's proposal on last time, pesaro's menager didnt like her attitude and the focus now is totally in Malinov. Great "fight" with Filottrano that looked for her first.

    When it comes down to BLOCKING, I think Carol is better than Sinead, Carol has been named best blocker 2x in the Club Championship, plus she is great server as well. And just look her 10 blocks against Volero, of course that is something that does not happens everyday, but only a few players can get 10 blocks in a game as well.


    But I dont want Sinead to leave GS, i really like her, and she`s a great player. Unless she gets better offers.


    Anne`s reception is a problem. But she`s a great attacker, just like Plak. They can hit a lot of balls, but you must hide them from receiving and gotta have a OH like Gabi and Picicnini that can hold the pass. It is something that can work, but it does not work well all the time.

    You're right. Carol isn't tall player but she is good blocker. She proved it last week against tall teams like Volero.


    Sinead is really good spiker. I liked her since she played in Poland few years ago. She deserves to play in good club.


    Speaking about Volero, they deserved a spot in CL. It is impossible to get rid of team because it will be weaker next season. Volero collected points for Switzerland in CEV ranking. That's why SUI is high in that ranking (based on seasons 2013/14-2015/16).

    I only said they should not play in CL, because seams like all the TOP players will leave, Foluke and Mari Paraiba already left. And I`m assuming Zinkovic,Mammadova, Olesia, Popovic, Orlova,Malkova and Carcaces will leave as well. But who knows, maybe they will be able to keep at least a few of them, and they will not be so bad.

    According to Wov, GS signed with Centoni 1 more year however they base this to their team manager's comment which was 2-3 weeks old from what I remember and he said they would like her to stay. I was surprised back then since both Ali Yuce (another team manager) and Ataman never mentioned this. Although I love Centoni, keeping her in the team will mean that GS is not aiming for any better position than 4th place in league next season. If your opponents have Boskovic, Slöetjes and Natalia-KYK duo, then you have to do better than a Centoni of 36 years old. I would love if they kept her while transferring a young, inexperienced and promising OPP like Haak so that she could teach from her experience.


    According to voleyboldefteri, GS wants a local opposite and made offers to Polen and Neslihan. Neslihan would indeed be a perfect choice since she is wasting herself knowing Boskovic should be a starter for Eczacibasi. Plus, Neslihan performed really good towards the end of the season and looks like she is no longer injured.

    Malesevic is going to play in Turkey.

    Yes and Centoni played probably the best matches of the season in the semi-finals, two times in a row against Vakifbank. But she choked so many times during the season which was the biggest problem for GS. Especially when the receiving was bad, Centoni couldnt help the team to side out to fix the situation. Now, knowing that she is 1 year older, I don't know how much she will be able to contribute considering she is an opposite relying a lot on her physical shape. That indeed was the reason why Seda played as OPP several matches in the league so that Nadia could rest.


    Meanwhile, it is quite certain now that GS is looking for 2 foreign OHs this season. I hoped Guldeniz would stay considering she has good connection with Gamze, but I guess Eczacibasi would also benefit a lot from having a player like her.

    Unfortunately she is not better than any of the names on this list including Leys. Thinking of it, it will be a very good transfer if Maret Balkestein joined GS replacing Leys!
