2017 / 2018 Transfer Rumors & Discussion

  • Is it already confirmed that Mihajlovic is going to Japan? I think she can play in Russia especially for Moscow now that Terzic is coach..

Orlova also should be a good candidate for Moscow since Poljak is supposed to be retiring.

Kosheleva going to Japan might improve her reception (a longshot), but I don't think it's the best choice for her career-wise.

She probably won't go to Japan but rather pick another Turkish club judged by her Instagram

  • According to Bruno Voluch, Ze Roberto`s team Baueri top priority is Natalia, only problem is that they are depending on sponsors. I`m sure if they can get a sponsor and be able to afford her she would go back. That`s probably why she asked U$$1M from Fenerbache, just to gain time once they would say no, but still keep negotiating and this would give time for sponsors to show up.

I was actually thinking of this to happen since they were signing many other foreigner, Lloyd, Adam, Fabris etc. I wonder how it will go with Natalia's signing...

Do you know any foreigner that improved her reception in Japan? It is the worse place to improve reception indeed. Everybody is good receiver, so Kosheleva will not receive there at all

  • What happens in Asia? Why suddenly it becomes trendy to play there? I don't know if it's still a rumor or it's official but Laura Dijkema, Robin de kruijf, Anne Buijs and Carol Da Da Silva will also move there.

    Fe Garay, maybe

  • Big Surprise Valentina Arrighetti back to Foppa Bergamo next seasons.

    Bergomo 2017/2018

    Malinov - Tomsia

    Sylla - ( Vasilantonaki ??? )

    Popovic - Arrighetti

    ( Cardullo ??? )

  • There is some rumor about Igor Novara and it seems they want to sign with Stevanovic or De Krujif

Also, Italian L Federica Feliziani stays in Lardini Filottrano

  • Tatiana Kosheleva in GS!

GS's next target is a strong defensive OH after Kosheleva! Someone better than Leys in attacking, not sure who that can be. Robinson, Hill and Larson all have contracts already. Werblinska, Rabadzhieva, Scherban, Grothues and Ilchenko are the names I could come up with. Couldn't think of any names from Brazil for example, except Gabi, who they said is not considered.

  • Scherban is experienced in covering Kosheleva at reception also Rabadzhieva has been covering the second OH in Volero for many seasons and she has already played in GS. However, I'm really not happy with Kosheleva's transfer. She will give more harm than what she can help. GS with a setter like Gamze should have keep their strong reception line and keep playing with Opp and MBs. Now with such a bad reception line, they won't be able to use Jack enough and Gamze won't be able make her "magic". :aww: Also Buse is not as good as Nihan at reception.

  • Does that mean you are part of GS`s staff? Do me a favor please, tell them to sign Busa, people say she`s horrible but what they don`t know is that Busa had the 3rd reception among all OH playersin Italy this season, only behind Enright and Meijners. :teach:

GS should have signed Mihajlovic instead of Kosheleva, Mihajlovic is much better passer than Kosheleva, she was 2nd best OH player in Rio for a reason.
And they could have signed Malesevic to play with Kosheleva, Malesevic was not great in Brazil, but playing in Brazil is not easy as you guys think, and Luziomar is the worst coach ever. Or even Enright, she was the best OH in Italy.
From Brazil, they could have chased Fe Garay and Tandara, or even Natalia. But it is too late, they all have signed contracts already. GS should have started to makes moves as soon as they beat Vakifbank and qualified for Champions League.

I hope they will be even stronger next season.

  • the othr club is fenerbahçe
fenerbahçe was offer little bid lower price than she got from eczacıbaşı if she was accepted she was sign with fener but she will in Galatasaray now

I don't think her reception would be the problem, since Neslihan will probably pass for her.. I think Gamze will struggle with setting her, since she's a player who like high balls, we all know Gamze can set great when playing fast.. Rabadzhieva would be a good option, I guess she won't stay in Volero..

And they could have signed Malesevic to play with Kosheleva,

And here it is again, the manner of speech I hate so much in every transfer summer :aww:

Clubs can't go into a shop and just buy whatever player they like :!: :!: :!: Maybe Mihajlovic doesn't want to play in Galatasaray? Maybe Malesevic had her reasons for going to Seramiksan?

Clubs can make offers, but in the end it's up to the players where they go and where not.

  • I understand that. But how do I know what is the team`s budget? how do I know which players they made a offer to? I DON`T KNOW ANYTHING, which means, I can only ASSUME. And that is why we come here, to express our PERSONAL opinions. So I`m just ASSUMING they did not make a offer to Mihajlovic or Malesevic.
And you have no reason to hate such a innocent comment. Maybe u should "hate" those PERSONAL COMMENTS when some users post towards one another.

  • I wasn't referring only to your post but to that general "club X should have signed player Y" attitude. I already posted my opinion about that last year, but some people (again, not referring to you especially) seem to think of transfers like it's clubs going shopping and that makes me furious.
And believe me, I do hate those other comments you mention even more...

  • Thank you for the comments guys! From what I read about their plans recently, it is another big name who is a defensive specialist they are aiming for. So I don't think it is Busa; must be Rabadzhieva. I thought it would be Larson since they are saying that she is a very big name too but most top defensive OHs already signed with some clubs, except Rabadzhieva. I think they are waiting for her answer and looks like the 2nd option is Leys. Hui Ruoqi is mentioned by several sources as well. By the way the second alternative for Kosheleva was De La Cruz.

I agree on you Serdar. I was almost bashed saying that I won't be happy if Kosheleva was transferred. I really don't want GS to go back to Meijners-Bosetti season. However Neslihan can receive, so it will most likely be 2 receiver system with minor supports from Kosheleva and Neslihan. My problem is, Buse surely won't be able to hold such a pressure. Besides her defence is quite bad and that's why Canakkale played with 2 libero system last season. I don't know how they will solve the problem but I would transfer a good foreign libero, just to use under certain circumstances and in CL as 4th foreigner. I can name many solid foreign liberos better than Buse. By the way, looks like Jack is staying in GS.

If, but only if GS's receiving works anywhere close to this season, then it will be so fun to watch Kosheleva attacking against single blocks :super:

This actually confirms that one of the KYK or Natalia is leaving or asking for so much money that FB is looking for other alternatives.
