Great transfer
This strengthens my assumption, that it will be extremely difficult for Stuttgart and Dresden, not to speak about other teams, to dethrone Schwerin this season. Obviously Koslowski was very impressed by her in WCQ tournament...
-
And due to volleball magazine Roosa Laakkonen from LP Kangasala (both FIN) is third middle of Münster in this season. While Münsters attack is far from being convincing IMHO, this middle could be a true strengthening for them.
-
Dannemiller leaves Schwerin. I don't like this but no surprise.
-
Did she play in Schwerin at all?
-
Yes she did, I think she was quite important for them in several matches coming from the bench and also started a few.
-
Lena Stigrot stays another year in Vilsbiburg despite some offers from "very ambitious clubs".
-
Lindsay Dowd stays in Aachen.
-
Jennisfer Keddy to VC Wiesbaden.

http://www.wiesbadener-kurier.…baden-werden_17962862.htmThis all looks really bad for USC Münster: nearly all good players are leaving them, only inexperienced and lower league players attended so far.
-
And Wiesbaden now officially completed the roster for this season as clearly first club and very fast indeed (similar as last season). Stuttgart and Dresden are not far behind, by the way (need still 1 respective 2 players)
-
Antonia Stautz from Erfurt to Potsdam.

As outside hitter? Her reception is not the best, to say the least...

Information policy of the VBL has to be improved - so far I couldn't found anywhere the decision regarding cancellation (or not) of the quarters in playoffs. Even the playing schedules for the league round, not yet published officially, depend of course of length and mode of playoffs... (the conference in Zeuthen was supposed to end yesterday, by the way).

For some unknown reason they won't tell currently the outcome (aside from the relatively unimportant elections of the board), but only in a few days.
-
Dresdner newspaper tag24, closely related to the Dresdner SC, revealed, that only the pre-playoffs are canceled for this season.
Otherwise business as usual: playoff has quarters and semis in mode best of three and final series mode best of five.
-
And apparently Dresden is very upset, they took it for granted that quarterfinals would be cancelled as well.
I think this is the best solution, with Köpenick gone it would already be clear that every team except VCO would at least be in the pre-playoffs, now there will be a real fight for 8th place. Quarterfinals are very important for all the teams except Schwerin, Dresden and Stuttgart to keep the season interesting even when it's clear they can't finish 4th after regular season.
