The main goal of Conegliano next season is to win Champions League, after a silver and a bronze medals in the last two editions. So they need an OH like Hodge for that, Sylla is not enough and she was signed only to play in Italian League (where they have to comply with the rule of the 3 italians on court).

I don't think Hodge is able to fight with Vakifbank after her injury, even player like Tirozzi can be more useful if there are no any injury players in team. I also think Eczacibashi is also favorite of CL together Vakifbank. It is better Imoco focuses on their local championship and try to improve their game style for playing better. It is really tough to play with the team like Vakif and Eczaci they have super hero players indeed. I don't think Hodge will make more differences on court.

Cansu Ozbay is better than Naz. She will replace her and I don't think will be any problem about setter position. Well, Naz and Gozda played together more time and they didn't have a communication problem. But I think Kelsey can replace Gozda too. Robinson played in Imoco and she played well and she is not a weak player indeed. I don't understand what kind of weakness you have mentioned. Vakifbank still look as serious opponent plus they have Guidetti who can boost game of his team. I agree Gozda did more things for Vakifbank but I think Gui will prepare Robinso to her place. Imoco is a really strong team but fighting with Zhu Ting is not easy anyway.
Imoco have advantage about to play in Italian championship because of Italian club. They have a chance to fight with strong teams in local championships. They can improve their game in local championships which next year will be much better indeed.
I still think that Meijners, Buijs, Vasileva, Bartsch would be a good option if you want OH with strong attack. If you don't care strong attacker because of Fabris and Hill, it is better to get Grotheus, Tirozzi who are considered both reception and not regularly attack. But about Hodge-Easy I am not sure how strong she will be. If to be honest I don't think Megan can handle it, yes she is better version of Sylla on attack because of her height but not more things on reception and defence IMO.
The biggest advantage of vakifbank is its potential of its young players and zhuting. Zhuting has not reached her peak performance yet. She is still improving everything and every year. You can check her performance year by year. It is the biggest threat for the opponent.No one knows how far she can go now. This also applies to cansu ozbay and other turkish local players.
In 2017-2018, zhuting improves her serving skills a lot. I can not find any other players in the history of cev champions league with such high stats of serving,spiking,blocking all together at the same time!
