I'd say a good chance. This Brazilian team barely has experience and has only been together for less than a month. Things might get messy even with Dani and Thaísa playing.

- Dani Lins in Brazil, though they sent 2nd team overall
- Rivera, Mambru, De La Cruz and Catillo in Dominican Republic
- Bricio in Mexico
- Aquino and Palacios in Peru
- Valentin in Puerto Rico
- USA sent B team with Carlini, Wilhite, Whitney, Wong-Orantes and one from Rolzen and Tapp sisters -
Canada has also sent a mixed team.

- Trinidad and Tobago has been the surprise. They took a set from USA and lost in the tie-break against Puerto Rico
I wouldnt be surprised if they beat Cuba
- Colombia defeated Argentina in 5 sets. Argentina is still missing Sosa and Tanya Acosta so much
- Peru is playing with a mixed team since key players refused to play for their NT
- Bricio is playing again for Mexico. What a pity Isiordia and Sainz wont be back. They could be an underdogIt is important to know that the top five ranked teams at the end of the tournment will qualify for the Pan American Games to be held in Lima next year.
The berths for USA, Brazil and Dominican Republic are secured. It is hard to predict which teams could get the last 2. -

I wouldnt be surprised if they beat CubaActually I don't find it THAT surprising. They have Jack, Thompson and Esdelle who all have several years of playing professionally in Europe under their belts and are really good players. If their cheerleaders are at least on an acceptable level, they're by no means a bad team.

Brazil likes to lose early in tournaments. Remember Germany this year and Puerto Rico 2x in the 2015 Pan Games?

but BRA didn’t lose to PUR, they were down 0-2 twice, but won both matches. still it’s a mystery how this team will perform.
My bad, I meant they have trouble against such teams, not lose.
