Van de Vijver is a limited setter IMHO. In the beginning of the set she was lucky Belgium was receiving good, so she has an easier job distributing the ball. Later they had a lot of trouble in reception and she had a hard time making the right decisions. Lippmann had to score all the points for Germany...

From all of the teams Germany shows best volleyball so far... Orthmann plays really great in Apeldoorn.

Geerties-Orthman-Lippmann is a SCARY good trio! If Germany had a better MB than Scholzel and a little less crazy setter than Hanke, they would be unstoppable!

Weitzel serve is so important for Germany! They always go on a point scoring run with her on serve.

Orthmann and Weitzel were the missing links in the last years for Germany and now we finally found them
Hanke and Schölzel don't show their best performance yet in this tournament, they can do better.After years of having to put up with Brinker and Kozuch being the closest thing to world class hitters Germany had (and thanks to Guidetti reaching two ECH finals with them!), it's such a pleasure to have Lippmann and Orthmann now!

To be fair the crazy was probably developed and reinforced because she had no offensive MBs until Weitzel was integrated to Germany.
