Trento's bench seems incredibly weak this year too. I guess they spent all their money on Jenia, Russell and Lisinac.

Well, they have Nelli (better than many second opposite of the Superlega, probably better than all of them beside Simon) and Van Garderen which is at least decent. For setter and libero it's hard to find a top team with a truly decent subs, so only the MBs bench it's actually weak (but I read Codarin is good, anyway).

Russell's contract was more expensive than Trento thought so an equivalent trade for Lanza didn't sit well with Sirci. Galassi was only the additional value that prompted the exchange.

Yeeeah, you're right. I don't know, I just feel like they could've gotten at least one bigger name for the bench, but it's understandable they didn't.
