juantorena aced. but all modena argued that he stepped on the line, the refree was influenced and decided line violation. after the challenge, it was seen it wasnt fault, this time refree called replay for whatever reason even though the ball was dead. fortunately he changed the decision and give the point to lube.

Lube got there in the end.. A strong positive was the fighting spirit shown by the layers after that first set. and they maintained it. They didn't always look as depressed and upset as they have been before. Hopefully this gives them some momentum moving forward. I think moving Simon around and maybe sometimes as a double substitute to play opposite might actually be better, as Simon hasn't really been effective in the middle. This position has been very weak - they need to work on consistent hard serving to make it a bit easier for themselves.
Still cant get over how when this team was being constructed, given the players they got, why a strong libero was not a priority....

I have to say Leon is no doubt the No.1 men's volleyball player in the world for now. Look at his stats in Superlega so far. In the first two games, Leon had a 57% attacking PT%, given that he needs time to get used to DeCecco's setting. In last 6 games, including facing against strong teams like Lube, Trentino and Modena, Leon had a 60+% attacking PT%. He even made a 84% in the latest game against Grotte.
As an OH, Leon's stats surpassed a top class OPP, not to mention his monster serves. His stats in Superlega are attached. Attacking PT% is in the red square.
And 35 aces in 8 matches! 
Lube is still "work in progress". They will be ready for the play offs, when it counts the most. The only thing I'm afraid of is their coach.. he also has to prove himself with a great team.
Milano needs to change their libero.

Unfortunately. Russell's serve wasn't working right in the beginning but it came right back at the worst time for Padova.
Nelli is playing really good but Giannelli is making mistakes that even Kovacevic is struggling to adjust though his connection with his middle blockers is near perfect tonight.
Padova is serving well and sometimes are very lucky with Trento's defensive lapses probably because of the anxiety to end the game early. They just couldn't capitalize when their serve or reception becomes frail at the end of the set.
Monza does a good job on blocking Leon

Monza won a big game. Monza's monster blocks were amazing. They shut down Leon three times in set 5. DeCecoo is kind of conservative in set 5. He did not even pass the ball to Lanza once. Atanasijevic also did not get the ball since he got blocked once.
This is probably the worst game Leon has played in Superlega so far.
