    AO Thiras: Merteki 12 (11/37)

Olympiakos has improved a lot and the reception of AO Thiras was a joke.

  • This weekend finished the first round of the 2nd league. PAOK lost 2 sets fron xanth and it was the first time that one team from the top 3 lost a point from a time under the 3rd place. It was a huge surprise. PAOK was losing in the 5th set 5-12 but finally won. First scorer was Eva Chantava 25(24/46), good game for the MBs but bad for Kiosi (7/24).

  • Some businesspeople of Naxos island gathered some money and ask the coach to choose a foreign player.

  • Is she supposed to lead the team to the league title? :what:

I didn't watch her in Philippines and Indonesia, but she was really poor in South Korea, where she lasted less than 3 months and got released, 'cause she wasn't killing the ball. I hope she improved in the last 2 years, but I can't see how, considering she comes from semi-pro leagues with very short players.

  • Pannaxiakos finished in the first round only one point behind the first place although 4 teams have much bigger budgets. Also their coach hadnt be before in the first league. Unexpectedly all their decisions so far have been really good.

I guess Marisa Field has been dominant so far. She is very good on the middle.

  • Marisa Field is playing in AO Thiras.

Megan Cyr post a picture of Thira in instagram and wrote that she is gonna miss this view. So the rumors that she will be replaced by Ana Grbac maybe are true.
