    Kazakh ALTAY 15+1 players are in Almaty for the last leg of training, the Serbian setter Radubovic was called back to strenghthen the capacity, but her name was not in FIVB's team roster yet, i guess it is too late to replace anyone that has been determined for long time ago and officially announced by FIVB

    Cheiri is team without any single victory in Seria A but they still beat one of the strongest teams from Brazil 3:2.

    Risking to repeat it: neither Conegliano nor Novara were interested to buy a wildcard for 100.000 US $. The tight playing schedule of A1 due to the rather late WCh didn't make it any better, by the way.

    I do not agree. Busto, currently ranked as second in the Serie A for the moment, played against Dresdner, the third best team in Germany after Stuttgart and Schweriner, and barely won at home with 3-2. This bolster the notion that Serie A isnt even vastly superior to the Bundesliga, which in turn isnt even close to being one of the best leagues in the world. The fact Busto, with such a limited squad that struggles against second-tier German oppositon, rank second with a win/loss ratio of 6-0 isnt a promising sign for the italian league as a whole. Besides, I dont think its serious to use exhibition games in order to determine the competitive quality of the teams anway. For example: Azerbaijan defeated Italy with 3-0 in a friendly just a month before WCH. With this logic its a pity AZE still didnt achieve better than a silver medal in WCH. But this discussion has very little to do with Club WCH anyway.

    I think, that Busto made a relatively bad match at home, to be honest, and expect, they will do better abroad in Dresden next week. Of course the three German top teams are not unexperienced at the international stage at all (with Stuttgart delivering a fine performance even in Istanbul, when playing the first time one of the 3 to 4 top teams of Europe), have generally improved in the last years and can exploit well any weaknesses of formally stronger opponents, if they let them do.
