In Asia there is also still JT Marvelous, Hisamitsu, Toyota + best Chinese teams. Which would be great addition to this competition as well. My ideal would be I think 2 Italian and 2 Turkish 1 Brazillian 1 Russian 1 Japanese 1 Chinese. But the bests in all these.
But I guess we should just focus on current teams atm as thats what we have anyway and it wont change.

i watched the replay of Vakıf - Volero..first set was good..i like it that Guidetti is starting with Ebrar Karakurt i hope she can play in many matches in the local league too.. im guessing Gui will start with Lonneke from tomorrow on..she needs to play too for a pre-perparation for the semifinal etc.

now time for tough matches : Eczacı vs Praia adn Vakıf vs Minas!

A much better match for Eczacibasi than yesterday. In addition to 3rd set, where it's obvious that Chonburi played good, they started the first set well, getting to 8-8, but then the Turkish team had a 13-2 run. And even in 2nd set, Thailand girls played some terrific defence.
Again, a good spread of points: Tijana 16, Kim 13, Jordan 8...

Brazil should develope some attackers 190cm + tall for a better out-of system play

Natalia is being a bit unreliable. Great combination play from the Chinese club despite their height! Still definitely Asians

190 cm up player is the standard for today’s volleyball. But i think brazil shohld have a player between 183-185 jumps high serves well passes well spikes hard..
Gabi is in the contention but she is just 176cm

i think minas can play better with vakif if passing and reception is to be considered

On the last training before the tournament started Sloëtjes suffered an injury to the foot sole. The question remains whether she can play on Friday.

Those other Asian club teams won't get a chance to play in the WWCC until 2020(assuming one of them wins their own league's title and the 2019 AVC club championship title). As Supreme was the winner in the AVC club championship title during 2017 and 2018. They will get to represent the Asian clubs at the WWCC in 2018 and 2019. Though both times they won, they had better reinforcements (both locally and foreigners) than they currently have now.

I was wondering that too. I hope she isn't...as she barely came back from knee surgery too. Even though the other current setter of Supreme(Waraporn) is a veteran setter like Nootsara, she isn't very good.

Will Lonneke be able to play tomorrow ?
if she cant , this could affect the outcome at the semis or at a probable final..sure we have to trust in Karakurt in case of Lonneke's absence but she lacks experience at this level for sure

As much as I love the Vakif/Eczacibasi rivalry, it would be nice to see one of the brazilian teams make it to the finals.

Great fight in first set, the difference was IMHO US Opp Fawcett cannon served Eczacibasi away... 25:27 for Dential Praia Clube at the end, they are great in blocking Boskovic
