Mazzanti is just too methodical, he could have put Sorokaite in pos 4 at a certain point and force with the serve. She's also a better receiver than Sylla and Pietrini.
This Chinese team needs men players to jump service on them. I remember they almost lost to The Dominican in Wch 2014 twice because they couldn’t pass strong jump services. They haven’t improved ever since.

Golden League is the qualification for Europe. 2 countries from Golden League will play Challenger Cup. + Peru which is host and Canada.
I'm not sure about Asian qualification. If I remember correctly last year Phillippines withdrew the competion and only 3 countries participated. KAZ won the tournament but they refused to play. Also Taipei didn't want to play so Australia took part in Challenger Cup.
