KYK is such a beauty
-
Wow Korea is really bad German team performance is improving, but if Korea keeps playing like that, this match is nothing to base any judgement on.
-
Lippmann is such a beauty, too
-
Haha, guys did u see that ball? Kim tipped the ball straight into Hanke’s head
-
Gründing has such a weird blocking technique at times, she often seems too late and too far from the net but still manages to put her arms up in a way that ends up getting a kill block. She also serves very well today!
Orthmann unleashes some impressive kills every once in a while but she needs more consistency.

sitenoise, is this your captain hyperbole? he's mr. obvious to me. not a lot of analysis, just boring narration.
-
I read it somewhere that the reason Pietrini doesnt wear knee pads is because its uncomfortable for her especially when jumping.
-
is this really Korea's a team? I mean yea I see some A team players like Kim and the opp but I'm sure thr MBs are not f.e.
-
I haven t seen Germany use their middles this much in a very long time, I like it

Hope she knows that knee pads help protect your knees on floor defense.

I think you’re right. Yang Hyo Jin has been their best MB recently, I hope she hasn’t retired.

This Chinese team needs men players to jump service on them. I remember they almost lost to The Dominican in Wch 2014 twice because they couldn’t pass strong jump services. They haven’t improved ever since.
that's the disadvantage of having such tall players. it seems in the last few years, lang ping has been selecting taller and taller players. the downside is in the passing/defense (although with such tall blockers, defense is less affected). sometimes the passers are zhu ting (198 cm), li yingying (194), zhang changning (192). the saving grace is that she also employs an OPP that can pass (zeng chunlei for example).
the other trick that she used today is going sometimes to a 4-woman passing system (which she used in beijing with the US team).

did han soon-yi retire?

Golden League is the qualification for Europe. 2 countries from Golden League will play Challenger Cup. + Peru which is host and Canada.
I'm not sure about Asian qualification. If I remember correctly last year Phillippines withdrew the competion and only 3 countries participated. KAZ won the tournament but they refused to play. Also Taipei didn't want to play so Australia took part in Challenger Cup.
and s. america? ARG and COL didn't contest?

did han soon-yi retire?
I don’t know. But I don’t remember seeing her for a few years so probably, at least from the NT.

Korea is missing Park Jeong-Ah too, aren't they?
