Zang Changning struggled a lot that she had to be replaced. To think she was playing as non receiving OH. Li ying ying came in to the rescue. Although she didnt contribute much points, she was less error prone and defended well.
Mara played very well both in blocking and hitting. Gabi stepped up in this game. Sheilla didnt contribute much during double sub. No offense to her but a different player would have contributed more. Or the coach should have just let Lorenne play full time.

Oh my bad. It was Liying ying who replaced her. Changning played as Opp 3rd set while Ying ying played as OH.

Gabi is always reliable on the back court. Since back then, her back row defense has always been amazing. Losing to 2 matches in a row really is a huge slap on their face. Do you guys think it is too late for them to win any medal?

True. At least het setting for the outside hitters is pure joy for my eyes.
USA is playing almost as crazy fast as they used to when Alisha was setting. I'm really glad Charles gave up on Hancock and called Poulter, she's way more talented IMHO.
