And that was by a libero
FIVB World Cup 2019 - Sept. 14 to 29, Japan
-
-
NED have problems in almost every aspect Attack: bad. Defense: bad. Block: bad. Service: bad. Coach: bad.
-
I guess we won't be seeing NED playing World Cup next time, because they will be surpassed by Italy by then, possibly even Turkey if Turkey make to the OG.
-
Morrison is really good in destroying confidence of players. Why don't let Bongaerts play? She didn't even play bad. And keeping Buijs on court is just
-
Morrison should just resign himself
Absolutely, Ned should start looking for a replacement.
-
Please get Dijkema and Buijs of court! I wouldn't even mind to see Stoltenborg as second setter, at least she is useful in block
-
I've never seen Goncha so expressive in a match before
-
Well, at least Japan vs Bra has started already. And Fabiana is still a great slider.
-
I've never seen Goncha so expressive in a match before
I'm curious to see her expression if ever she'll get a medal at OG next year
-
Buijs and Morrison destroying the team as usual
-
Some observations
Busato: i think he is a passionate coach. You can certainly see that he connects with the players.
Goncharova: shes hitting 95kph a while ago.Had some good digs as well.
koroleva: first time seeing a slide spike from her and she did it kore than once in this match.
kosheleva if healthy can be a better double sub vs. Khaletskia -
You have to understand the Dutch girls, and how they feel mentally. This is their greatest generation ever, and they know that. However, for all that, all they have to show for it is 2 ECh silvers and a 4th place in Olympics and WCh. They know some of their crucial players are exiting their primes (while others continue to have all their obvious limitations and flaws). In such a mental space, it's hard not to let that negatively impact your level of play and further degrade your chances.
-
why didn’t they challenge that block out by amanda , that ball was so out!
-
I wonder why they shout "Sarina" instead of Koga, because they shout "Ishii" and "Ishikawa"
-
BRA 25-14 JPN.

maybe because it’s 2-syllable, it’s better for a chant if it’s 3, at least.

And worst of all, the team has a low quality head coach who cannot really coach, unable to formulate the right strategy and adapt it successively on court, just follow the footstep of his mentor, KK. Now imagine NED has a top quality coach like Terzic, Gui, Lang Ping, or even Roberto Ze.
-
just saw the score, what a heartbreaker for CMR!!!! it’d have been sweet revenge for the WCh had they won.
-
So, Koga is dangerously out of starting 6 position.

Ha ha ha, Mister Pompous is on duty
