    Russia deeply miss Fetisova. Im still wondering why Efimova is still in the team, even as a starter. I know she is more used like a slider, but her block skills are just :what:

    I wouldn't say that was a bad substitution because they couldn't defend the ball to prove it. Goncharova's serve is pretty weak. I think that's really where she needs to improve as a player. Romanova without an opposite is a little questionable though. It could've improve the block but Lazareva is playing the OH so...

    Fetisova suffered apendicitis some weeks ago. She had a surgery. She even didnt play all the European Championship.

    Busato speaks a functional Russian, no need for interpreter! He blends well with the Russians, providing much better atmosphere for the teams, warm-hearted, fatherly, compared to both Marichev and Pankov... now there are more smiles among the Russian players on court.
