Koroleva is flying high at the moment... the very Russo Wall!

Wow! Zaryakho! Deym..
-
Koroleva is a beast.

Koroleva in Thaisa Menesez mode.
Goncharova is still reaching 30 pts even if shes past prime.
-
tie-break request is granted!
Busato speaks a functional Russian, no need for interpreter! He blends well with the Russians, providing much better atmosphere for the teams, warm-hearted, fatherly, compared to both Marichev and Pankov... now there are more smiles among the Russian players on court.
Does anyone notice that Startseva is beautiful? Must say it out and aloud
I agree. I guess we'll have to see what's going to happen with his reign as russia's head honcho.

She just needs to make a pipe attack!

Got Block?
-
Sort of a mirror of set 1 so far
-
Russia is playing free as a bird. No ifs, just play.
-
There's a couple brain farts in this set you usually don't see Japan make
-
i wonder what will happen to the mix when you put back kosheleva.
Fetisova is also a missing piece in russian defense.
-
I still don't understand the setter and libero choices by Nakada. Japan has so many athletes at the same level and Nakada probably makes her decision based on who is better at the camp. She should invest the potential.

Fun match! Kisses all around
-
BTW congrats Gamova, she gave a birth to a baby today
-
anyone knows where is kimura Saori??
Also the great opposite of japan, nagaoka??

Saori retired, Nagaoka torn ACL, twice, has missed the last two seasons
-
Parubets subbed off by Lazareva was like a cold water poured on her head moment for her. Like she's an opposite and Busato still put her in for Parubets. It should be eye opening reminder to her to keep on improving to overcome more difficulties.
-
Awww, that's pretty cute Voronkova in the post match interview

Kimura has retired a couple of years ago and is enjoying life as a fan. Nagaoka had a big injury in the Italian League after the World Champs last year, so she is recovering.

Before there were Boskovic and Egonu, there was Goncharova as the super opposite
