There are so much fire in Zhu's eyes in the forth set, same as Zhang. When LYY came to play at the end of 3rd set, she is too nervous. Needs to shake it out.
LYY has great potential but still a long long way to go, technically and mentally.

Congrats CHINA for Gold!!!
I hope I don't fall asleep in this hour waiting for the 2:00am match
China can clinch with 3-0 win tomorrow or less depending on USA-RUS match.
Here it goes the much awaited Silver Medal match: RUS v USA
Who will grab the Silver medal? Your pick!
any links please
What a great challenge by Busato!
Voronkova took the two closing points to win RUS the first set 26-24
Yet Goncha remains to be the Russian queen!
I watched only small parts of the first set, and I'm surprised UsA lost it. However they look great in the second. Courtney is delivering in reception
Larson is doing a great job in attack. And Kelsey is the best OH USA has right now.. making her play as a libero would be a shame
Koroleva with 3 consecutive blocks
The difference in attack between Lowe and Drews is that Andrea has a much faster swing, on the other hand Karsta takes so much time to lift her arm, and open up, but than all od a sudden hamers the ball
The thing that Kelsey needs to work on, is getting a rebound off the block when the set is not perfect, or when she has double block in front of her. She usually tries to hit every ball as hard as possible, and get a touch off the block, but with solid blockers that's not always possible. Great all round OHs like Logan, Picci, Del Core knew how to do that really well
There are some more info about sets/receptions here:

Speaking of statistics, I remember earlier that being blocked counted as an attacking error. They don't do this anymore....
I think it should count as an error. A blockout counts as a score for the attacker so why not count it as error when he gets blocked
The US needs big guns.
One set all for the two teams, 25-22 for USA.
Only Goncha stayed among the starting line-up.
Goncharova started screaming through the net. Now we need some Larson sas
Dixon has that Native American beauty.. reminds me of Berg
