Interesting choice indeed. It would have been a bit more sense if he didn’t go to Chicago at the first place with that reason but leaving just before last one match makes no sense at all.

Bad match by Brazil, Wallace, Lucarelli and Leal struggled very much in attack and were all subbed. Quite a mess in every aspect of the game, nobody managed to change the trend. It looked like some of them didn't even really tried (Wallace and Lucas were quite off).
Poland had great blocks and a very good effort in defence, plus they put in trouble many times the reception line of Brazil with their serves. Good match from all the polish players, everybody contributed positively, with Bednorz being outstanding.

Bednorz was a standout, he should really join the main team.. Congrats Poland! And what does that say about Brazil's team? They almost beat USA yesterday but maybe Poland is Brazil's kryptonite..

Brazil had their main rosters attend all VNL preliminary matches and final 6. They've been exhausted.
In final 6, they played three 5-set matches in a row in three days. They have nothing left in tank. Today it's an easy win for young Polish team.

WS subs: Sliwka and Kwolek
After Leon joined Poland NT, the chances for BB to get an OH spot in NT are slim.
Leon, Kubiak will be starters, and Szalpuk and Sliwka will be subs.
Kwolek is also a good sub option. BB's offense is fine, but his defense and reception are not solid when he's on the back row, which limits his contribution in NT.

A lot of nerves and erros in this first set. Neither of the teams displayed a good performance. Hope they raise the level and that we have a good match from now onwards

Incredibly bad timing for USA to have Jaeschke and Russell both unhealthy for the final round. They could've won this tournament if one of them are just fine.

Russia served really well and pass decently. A lot of their serves at first were not going in but mentally they improved and it was the story of the match.
