2019 / 2020 Transfer Rumors & Discussion (Female)

  • For me having MB who can block is already big advantage for your as team. I would keep Adenizia but I would let go Stevanovic She really didn’t show anything to play in top team this season.

    Blocks

    1 - Kakolewaska - 61

    2 - Olivotto - 60

    3 - Adenizia - 53

    4 - Veglia - 51

    5 - Alberti - 51

    6 - Bonifacia - 50

    7 - Stevanovic - 49

    Attacks

    Stevanovic - 110

    Adenizia - 82

    Total Points

    Stevanovic - 167

    Adenizia - 142

  • Adenizia is still better blocker and I think that Stevanovic gets much more sets than Adenizia... what about their % in attack ?

Good point, Adenizia is 86/165 = 52,1% while Stevanovic is 113/269 = 42,0% in attack.

This are real number, almost 100 more sets.

I mean Stevanovic is still great, but this season She hasn’t showed herself.

  • i don't think she's great.. in fact she hasn't proven herself in the international scene, except for the good seasons she had with Pomi

Uhm, those good seasons in Pomi (during which she was both the best blocker and the most efficient MB of Serie A) are basically her entire professional career so far.

It's true she hasn't made that big of an impact on NT, but that's kinda understandable when you consider that her position there is covered by one of the world's absolute best blocking MBs (Rašić) and one of the world's best attacking MBs (Veljković).

  • And even though she hasn’t been THAT effective for the NT, she was still a starter in the team that won silver in Rio and gold at the ECH.

  • stevanovic is good blocker but this season she aint that great in a attack she makes way more mistakes and gets blocked way more then before and for some reason she looks slower in block as well this year ,4 block difference between her and adenizia is nothing so they are on the same level when it comes to blocking weird not seeing danessi in top 5 blockers, stevanovic has been a starter most of the time cause terzic values blocking mb more then scoring one and i agree with him, part of the reason vakif won all those titles were cause of their blocking eczacibasi is having big problems with blocking for years now they allways transfer shorter attacking mbs for some reason dont get why they transfered gibby when they have boskovic, kim and larson to score ecz needs a tall blocking mb like poljak rasic danessi and once they get it they will crush anyone even vakifabank with their full roster

  • Danesi is not their because Imoco is not playing with the same players literally whole season + they are sub, a lot in one game. So it is hard to find any Conegliano player in top of league stats. Every match different MB duo or whole team lol.

Danesi has the best block-per-set ratio in the league at 0.88. For example Olivotto has 11 more blocks than Danesi, but she has played 29 more sets so her ratio is only 0.71.

  • just trying to explain the own opinion in different ways in long messages just to show who has the right opinion who not.

clearly you don't know the definition of discussion.

I always appreciate detailed, well argumented 'long messages'' rather than groundless claims about how much Egonu or Haak will receive a salary;)

Agreed. Block per-set or ace-per sets are more accurate indications about a player's performance. For example Milena Rasic is not in top 5 most blocker ranking in Turkish league but she is the best according to blocker per set ranking, which is more accurate ranking

  • According to Bruno Voloch, Bauru wants to renew with Fabíola (S), Tifanny (as OPP), Gabi Candido (OH), Andressa (MB) and Valquíria (MB).

He said that it seems that Valentina Diouf (OPP), Vanessa Janke, Edinara and Palacios (OH) are out of the managers' plans for next season (which is totally comprehensible given their current performances).

  • The new forum doesn't even show IPs to me anymore like the old one did  So my guess is based on the writing style, which however looks quite clear to me...

    OH MY GOOOD....!!! :lol::lol::lol:

So we can assume your "life" consists of checking on "the writing style" of people who post their comments here...???

Jesus, that must be a really poor thing...We also assume you must be a millennial/ hacker/ Anonymous/ DarkNet surfer, with all the implications your "activity" has.

    Good luck 8)8)

Stevanovic has suffered since summer 2017 all through 2018. Her last season with Pomì was impalpable and the WC, which she hardly played, not so different from that. She's a beautiful person and needs a "family-like" environment, so to speak. I'm sure it's all just about psychology: if Scandicci signs 1 young serbian player for the bench and Milenkovic recovers as a back-up for Lucia, Jovana will be fine. Malesevic and Popovic already live in Florence, which is also of great help.

Danesi is on the way to MB n.1 in the world: Monza and our amazing Italian National Team will be granted with her fantastic performances. Astounding blocker

  • I don't know why many teams want to sign her, she's nothing special imho. I would try to sign Sorokaite or Giulia Angelina as local OH

Do you know the difference between a receiver and an average OH...? Sorokaite was born an OPPOSITE HITTER, she eventually moved to OH and she's trying to receive/defend at her best. She's 31 or more. Giulia Angelina as well was born an OPPOSITE (!) and now, while transitioning to OH, she's still on the bench, after defending CLUB Italia and Busto, among the others, but hasn't improved that much.

You probably don't even watch Brescia's games (you can via LVF TV): VILLANI is our best attacker/receiver after Lucia Bosetti and surpassing Gennari.

She's young, tall, with a high spike, a high block, dominant physical presence, amazing scorer and superbous receiver and defender.

She'll either play for Igor Novara or stay in MIllennium if they raise up their budget

  • They should have kept Sloetjes one more season...Sloetjes+Ebrar would cover them enough...

Vakıf should have waited to see ıf they could get Zhu back after Tokyo and once that becomes clear then, start making long term plans...

Guidetti is too desperate to be competitive, which I think is not very smart..

Guidetti likes to "play it in the easiest of ways": without his "toys", he's lost. HAAK will get 1 million, which is official. This is the beginning of the end for Vakifbank
