Puerto Rico is qualified!

-
La Dominicana are qualified!

-
Here are the semi-updated scenarios for qualification
(Ranking) (with hypotheticals)
1. USA - Ranking 1
2. Brazil - AQ CSV
3. China - AQ AVC
4. Turkey - AQ CEV
5. Serbia - AQ Defending WCH
6. Russia - Ranking 2
7. Italy - AQ CEV
8. Dominican Rep. - AQ NORCECA
9. Netherlands - Host
10. Japan - AQ AVC
11. Poland - Host
12. Germany - Ranking 3
13. Belgium - Ranking 4
14. Korea - Ranking 5
15. Bulgaria - Ranking 6
16. Puerto Rico - AQ NORCECA
17. Thailand (172) - Ranking 7
18. Colombia (168) - AQ CSV or Ranking 8
19. Canada (165) - Ranking 9
20. Czech Republic (158) - Ranking 1021. Kazakhstan (157) - Ranking 11
22. Argentina (156)
Really the only thing that can really disrupt this would be if the AVC decides to do something else or the FIVB changes the December 31st ranking deadline.
If Colombia wins the CSV, that will give an additional ranking spot (currently Argentina)... If Argentina wins, Colombia will drop in the rankings and open a spot potentially for Croatia (23) or France (24)
Canada and Puerto Rico will play in the Pan Am Cup starting in 1.5 weeks... There is a chance that if Canada does not do well, they could drop. This would be an opening for the non-CSV qualifier, Croatia, or maybe France. But the USA will also be sending together a mangled team.. that's opportunity to gain points.
The Europeans (Turkey, Russia, Italy, but not France) still in EuroVolley will all be qualified so their AQ or ranking status is not important.
Edit: I forgot about CAVB... but I also can't find any information about their championship.

For sure kazakhstan not grab a ticket
Other team gonna pass them

Which other teams?
Only someone from South America can pass them now

Kazakh sisters will make it
I hope they invest more in volleyball again... I saw some fans of Turkish NT from Kazakhstan. We need more Turkic teams in volleyball lol
Edit: especially now that Azerbaijan is dead xD

Kazakhs has some naturalized players as well. Yunieska Robles if I remember correctly plays for Kazakhstan NT. So maybe

Really? I know she played in Kazakh league but I don't remember her playing for their NT.

Kazakhstan will still need some help. If Argentina sweep Chile and Peru, they will still gain points with losses to Colombia and Brazil.
Best case for Kazahkstan is to root for the USA tonight (make Canada lose points), root against Canada in the Pan Am Cup, and to root for Colombia over Argentina in the CSV Championship
(or hope AVC steps in and makes up some championship stuff and gives AQ to Kazakhstan and Thailand lol)

I'd like to see Philippines finally playing important competition

I didn't see her playing for them
I remember was a case of several cubans become kazhaks but they never play for them

They had some talented players right, I also remember Indonesia and Vietnam building good teams, Asia will be harder than it used to be I think. The golden 4, Korea-Thailand-Japan-China will have to watch out.

I got the clue
The rest seems like algebra #out -

Korea and Thailand, especially. Losing their golden girl and golden gen.... I wasn't impressed with KYK-less Korea (and even less so without Lavarini) and Thailand has a lot of question marks..
heck even Japan has a ton of question marks going on... the OG was a disaster.

By the way, I think that going forward FIVB should deduct the points from teams which withdrew from continental competitions.
Mexico lost many points playing NORCECA championships. On the other hand, Slovenia didn't qualify to Eurovolley and thanks to that they didn't lose points. Slovenia is currently on 28th place (If I remember correctly they were on 29th before Eurovolley :D)
Edit: Romania lost many points, and they are on the same place with Albania, which didn't play any competition in the last 3 years. Finland and Switzerland are even lower in the rank.

They need to figure out a way to address it in general.
Canada lost points qualifying for the VNL (some of that was their fault), Argentina lost points qualifying for the OG)
Like its probably in Canada's best interest to just skip the Pan Am cup... just to not lose points
