How does one cope seeing your favorite team lose 10+ times in the international stage? And it seems at the rate they are playing now, going to lose even more? Team Korea is performing their worst in just 1 year. They should forget Paris 2024 if they continue to play this way.

There are highs and lows for every team....I think they are rebuilding atm and they will bounce back stronger. They have some promising young players like Choi Hosan who played in the AVC Cup. In the meantime, you can also cheer for a second or even third favourite team, like some of us do (me included)
Do stay happy, and stay connected

Well, I've been alternating between Team Korea and Thailand these past few years. Though I honestly like Team Korea more. Rebuilding is just part of growing pains I guess.
Not giving up on Korea though, the heart wants what it wants lol

might not even make it to the OG qualifiers... I watched part of set 2 and it was like, bad.

It could get worse...they face Turkey next and after what happened last night will want to get a big win

Yeah. I watched the first set real-time, and even though they lost, it was pretty close that I thought they could at least carry that momentum by the 2nd set. I slept then because it was like midnight in my country lol. I continued watching when I woke up, and thank goodness I didn't watch it at night coz I would have not been able to sleep because of frustration

That post about betting odds made me say "out loud" here what I've been thinking about for the last couple of weeks: surely it would be too much for a single nation to win practically all tournaments that matter in a calendar year, in both male and female category, AND in both junior and senior? I mean, I feel like people are just not talking enough about this phenomenon and how astonishing it would be...
Italian volleyball NTs are like American billionaires: no matter what happens they will come out the winners in the end.

I will say this one more time, this cant be forgotten, i didn't follow male tournaments, but they cheated at women u21 tournament, this gold was stolen.

Where is Gong Xiangyu? Not starting and not on the bench?
-
Gong isn’t on court… Chinese netizens are speculating that it might be recurrence of an old injury… no official news. Without Gong, China might not even get out of pool.
-
what happened to gong...
-
Diao is literally doing only ONE thing. Setting to 4. Wang Yizhu might as well be a scarecrow at this point…
-
-
finally WYZ gets a point!!!!!
-
Wang Mengjie is far and away the BEST libero China has, period.
-
anyone know if the players are required to do pcr test before playing?
-
Gong Xiang-yu is injured instead of illness ...
In fact, Wang Yi-zhu didn't play as an OP for a long time.
However, Chen Pei-yan didn't play as a receiving OP.
Therefore, Wang Yi-zhu returned OP.
-
ok, looks like ankle injury and GXY is out for first two group matches
