2022 FIVB Women's World Championships - Netherlands and Poland

  • Vakifbank should bê really happy

  • What a match, really! Congrats Brazil! But being honest, there were only flashes of good vball. Both teams need to improve a lot. Brazil seemed sloppy many times and their best strength (team work) was off today: Gabi ball. Sure, it paid off, she was just superb. But Brazil has never been (nor played) like this. The few times they were forced to do it (Tandara Ball) and we all know how it ended. Every body will talk about Gabi, but without Natinha, Egonu wouldnt be so erratic as today (even she was already off).

For Italy...well the setter position is already a chronic issue. When Egonu is off, even she overscore everybody, even the floor defence could be super, setter needs to look for other chances. Not today. And Bosetti off (also in reception, here hats off for Ze Roberto serving strategy) was another HUGE factor. Sylla is too unstable.

Being forced to play with Pri Daroit, our only option is Gabi-ball... When Julia Bergmann returns, if Ana Cristina returns and when Ze gives up on Pri, we'll look more like a team, I'm sure

  • Chiaka better than all of them

No lie there. Besides the 2nd OHs and Cansu-ball there isn't much to worry about in VB in general. And even those are not a problem at all either... Esp. since there are 2 of them + Derya and Idk Buket-ball maybe (:?:)

  • I feel like Germany and Poland have this mental barrier against Turkey similarly how Turkey kinda has it against Serbia :rolll: Like I'm sure one day those teams will break it but until that curse is broken it almost feels like they'll beat USA and Serbia before they'll beat Turkey lol

  • Let's hope Ahoy Rotterdam will give the same magic as it did in 2015 for the Netherlands!!!:super:

That's true, however Germany are kind of lacking OPP here. But seeing their match in OQT final it is true. The same way Germany always loses to Poland even when they play better than us.

  • Alsmeier did a decent job as receiving OPP, in VNL she struggled with attack from pos.2 and defense on pos.1 but she is doing that much better now. Janiska also attacked well for her standards, but Guidetti did a very good job disturbing our middle attack with short serves.

  • This announcer literally can not get one single Serbian players name right
