    I'm mad BECAUSE of this performance, the best Turkiye looked was in 2018, first year of Gio's arrival with a new squad, aka he managed to add almost nothing to these players.


    I really wish Gozde would want to be coach... Under her guidance VB did so well and kept that legacy for Gio, I remember how quickly Tugba improved when she was guiding her in VB.

    I hope Chiaka and Ali (she landed a little bit weird) are ok...

    I think Japan IS a really dangerous team right nów and the best teams from ASIA after the trágic result in Olympics last year.

    Without Ebrar and Zehra on standard level Turkey cannot make TOP4 of WCH. Even with them they are not TOP4 in the world. I think people expectations are sooo off.

    My opinion - as for the present 🇨🇳🏐 NT roster, these players are to be kept LYY, GXY, WMJ, YXY toss up between WYY and YHY. NFF can be the understudy to WMJ. Read that WYY is from a poor family, I have a soft spot for people who came from disadvantaged social background.

    It was so sad to watch Eda be this impotent, but I guess no one beats Father Time. She is 35, after all.;(

    I know Guidetti has been awful but Turkish team has several players with very much limitation. Look, I like these this girls but the OHs are just not in a top internacional level. They barely work at the domestic league.

    Our team cannot play high balls and everyone knows that without reception we look like children in the fog.

    Yea but look at all the players he cuts, we don't have the luxury to please his ego and cut even more players in fact I don't think any team does. Cut out a couple OHs, the libero, a couple MBs and a couple setters out of any team and they could fail. That's literally what's happening in Turkish NT, many players are cut for no reason and are being gaslighted by Giovanni too. No NT has the luxury to lose so many nationals to represent their team, Turkey not either.


    Libero and setters were a huge issue this tournament and Turkey has plenty of those... Tugba and Neriman could have added something as OHs, Kubra and Asli surely could have added something as MBs... it goes on.

    I don't think Tuğba's presence would change anything, we just played terribly as a team :gone:
