So has Sander. At least Sam carried ZAKSA from the bottom to the title last season in PlusLiga.
If Sam is that important, why Zaksa let him go?

Money? imo Sam was their best player. The team lost quite a bit of steam during the time he was injured last season and then were almost out during the semifinals until he returned and stepped up their game as a whole.
I like Deroo, but he's not close to Sander's quality. Taylor's back row skills are way better than the belgian's ones.

All said, I agree. I do hope Sam has a good season in Russia and is able to improve further though. I wonder if they tried anyone else before him.
Dinamo Moscow bought Sam Deroo (BEL/OH) out of ZAKSA as a replacement for Taylor Sander.
Source is Deroo's IG.
Deroo finished his contract with Zaksa last season. He signed a new contract for this season with Shangai, so Dynamo had to pay the buy-out in order to get this player.

Deroo had valid contract with Zaksa not Shanghai.

Thank you. His IG post had no mention whatsoever of Shanghai.
