  • It should be Kyle Ensing. There're some hints in that video. He's a new guy in NT, and NCAA champion this year (Long Beach).

Averill is not the new guy. He's been with NT for a while, and he's a starter MB in some games during WCH 2018.

Also Averill has already signed with Olsztyn in Poland. Wonder if Patch will have to battle Ensing for the starting spot like Kyle Russell last season.

  • Vital Heynen replaces Lorenzo Bernardi as coach of Perugia.

The Umbrians are forming quite a formiddable team which makes them favorites in all competitions.

Usually, I call this a desperate move from Sirci but taking a loud and in your face coach such as Heynen will probably make it harder to bully him like the board did with Bernardi every time they faced a defeat just like last season.

Bernardi's time in Perugia was a success but there were too much criticisms coming from the

  • Mitar Djuric returns to Trentino Volley.

For those who are familiar with the foreign restrictions... Didn't he marry Martina Guiggi? Is he considered an italian by now or there are still more years needed before he becomes one?

I think I read somewhere he should count as Italian, i believe there's a tax to pay though.

Nevermind, i just read the coach interview and it says since he's a foreigner they're going to have to work around the formation when he has to play.

  • Saeid Marouf joined BAIC Motors in Chinese league !!

It's a big boost for Beijing. Beijing also needs to find a better libero if they wanna beat Shanghai in league final next season.

  • Dinamo Moscow to terminate contract with Taylor Sander (US) due to the latter needing surgery for his shoulder

"In preparation for the Olympic qualification as part of the US team, Sander received shoulder damage and was unable to perform in the qualifying tournament. The efforts of the doctors and the month of rehabilitation procedures did not help, and the volleyball player decided on a serious surgery on his shoulder, after which he would need to go through a long rehabilitation period under the supervision of American specialists. This excludes the possibility of his participation in club championships in the upcoming season."

  • Dinamo Moscow bought Sam Deroo (BEL/OH) out of ZAKSA as a replacement for Taylor Sander.

    Source is Deroo's IG.

Because of Taylor's injuries, Moscow did not have other choices in a rush. I don't think it's a good deal for Moscow. Sam has choked many times in clutch time.

So has Sander. At least Sam carried ZAKSA from the bottom to the title last season in PlusLiga.
