Serbia NT 2019

    Although I understand the decision, I'm pretty sad, and I'm still hoping that I may watch this golden generation live (as long as the official list of players that will play the first weekend does not publish on the association's website).Although it is by no means clear to me that Maja and Milena do not play even that first weekend, and that Stefana stays on the list, although it is really hard to expect that she will play 3 days after the final round of clay, and I do not see the need for her playing for the next four weekends.

    Tijana is young and not so many years in the national team, so her playing is not surprising so obviously her game size and desire is so great that she wins all the tears, Brankica also had time to break since the season in Japan ended in late March, but Stefana .....The tickets have already been bought, I will not flood, even if the youngest set is on the court.

    It means no "all stars" team for the first tournament after all. Bošković and Mihajlović are probably going to be there. I'm not so sure about Stefana, so soon after the CL final.

    A bit of a bummer, honestly. I'm sure the people would have loved to see Maja and Milena on court in Belgrade.

    That`s interesting. Especially because Maja is already with the team. She could have gone on a vacation instead lol.


    But I`m glad she won`t play....that means MIRKOVIC will probably play a lot.... and I will love every bit of that. :love::love::love::love:


    I`m glad Rasic and S.Popovic will get a break. But I`m surprised with Stevaniovic. It was not all her fault ( I mean she still ended the season among the top blockers), But I think would have been good for her to play VNL.


    Mihajlovic after such a long season in Japan and that surgery I think would have been good to let her rest...same for Boskovic.

    Stefana will be in Belgrade for the VNL. This time, Terzic explicitly talked about players who are missing.

    Silvija has a small injury, she should recover until July. And he said that Jovana Stevanovic was called to the team gathering and she didn't show up??


    He is pleasantly surprised with the younger players . Serbia beat Bulgaria in the first friendly match by 3:1.

    Someone posted a link in the other thread to that forum or whatever it was about lesbian volleyball players and she was prominently featured in discussions there with people saying she's been acting weird lately, perhaps there is some truth to it after all. :cheesy:

    Before 3 days Bosha posted on her instagram photo with Jovana, Malešević and Brankica. Look like everything is normal and it is strange to me how Terzic does not have any information or feedback from her given the close proximity of the teammates


    Well, he must know or at least have an idea of what's going on, but it sounds like she didn't talk to him.

    I just hope it's not a new scandal in the making. I also couldn't help but notice that Brankica is the only one of the Cool Girls playing the VNL this year. Perhaps it's just a coincidence.

    You know, I'm starting to get pissed. If Stefana, who's had by far the longest season (that's still not over yet!) out of everyone AND played almost every single match can show up for the first tournament, then so can everyone else.

    How do you think her being (possibly) gay is related to this?

    Have not yet officially published but Terzic said it would be the best possible

    team in that moment so i guess that the team will be this:

    S: Mirkovic, Antanasijevic

    Opp:Boskovic, Bjelica

    OH: Mihajlovic, Blagojevic, Busa, Milenkovic

    MB:Veljkovic, Savic, Popovic, Aleksic*

    L: Pusic*, M.Popovic

    Pušic and Aleksić are finished their club season a few days ago and i do not know are they already training with nt

    but sam story with Veljkovic so Terzic said that she will play.

    I guess Milenkovic is not ready to play yet. Hopefully she can play at the World Cup.


    I'm excited to see how Mirkovic will do. But what really matters here is gaining experience as I would assume Maja,Zivkovic and Ana will all retire from the NT after Tokyo.

    Lozo played as opp in one season in Vizura and she is being very solid. I believe that Lazovic will have chance in the next 4 weeks to show the whole world what she knows.

    Apparently, Milenkovic is not yet in shape, but she will certainly play at WC and she will play even the 3,4 weekend of the nation's league.

    And yes it is sad but Maja, Zivkovic will retire probably after European Champ 2021 because they will held in Belgrade and it is so important to find a good substitutiton for main setter.
