  • What is the rest of the dream team? Brazilian federation was doing a live but they cut before the individual awarding :gone:

  • Finally an award for Thales.

I wonder if he secured his olympic slot. Maique is still a threat but Thales' reception is still better and with the amount of aces we've seen from other teams, they might need a serve-reception specialist than another defensive libero.

  • Bruno should have been setter or MVP. At least Allan got it.

  • Wow 4th place take two individual award.

    :what::what:

  • Bruno should have been setter or MVP. At least Allan got it.

Christenson have a huge asian fanbase. I guess that's the reason Bruno didn't take it. He's obviously the best setter of this world cup and there's still Matias who is more impressive despite the height.

  • African teams will probably take last spot in Pool B as Egypt, Tunisia and Cameroon are all higher than Venezuela and Chile in South America.

So South America will take last spot in Pool A.

  • Alan got the MVP because the best opposite was made to Nishida.

He did well, but didn't live up to the MVP standard to me.

Most of the difficult balls of Brazil went to the outside, and too many errors of him at clutch time.

    :/

  • Congrats Alan you deserve to the MVP. :super::super:

C’mon! He was consistent from the beginning till the end of this WC.

He definitely deserved the MVP :wavy::wavy:

  • Well, before the tournament I said that 3 wins was what I expected for ARG team and it was 3 more than that.

A really good team is shaping up together with the more experienced players that weren't here. They won't fear a death group at the olympics if it comes to that.

  • Happy for Thales and Alan! Two MVPs in a row for Alan -- dude is definitely going to Tokyo. Same for Thales, it's more than clear Maique is getting the cut.

I had no idea. Japanese users: is that because he kinda looks like Kageyama from the Haikyuu anime? I recall seeing a photo of Micah posing besides a Kageyama cut-out just yesterday.
