Zhang, Zhu, and Yuan were all youngsters when they won OG Gold but isn't Zhang the youngest starter player to ever win OG Gold? I don't think Zhang started the Gold Medal match, but she finished it with that serve, and she's older than Yuan, I believe, but I don't think Yuan "started the tournament", so to speak. I just have this memory of friends saying this about Zhang when we were watching it --along with the troubles you mention about switching indoor/outdoor. Their take was that she was a bit high maintenance, but worth it.

Other than Zhu Ting and Lin Li, nobody really was a starter. Lang Ping even said in interviews that everybody else alternated based on who performs best.

In my opinion, Beijing might not win Tianjin again. Beijing's setter and libero are weaker. Even I think Jin Ye is much weaker than herself in Season 18/19. Zeng Chun-lei's decrease in form ... only Liu Xiao-tong and Rachel Rourke are the same as theirselves in Season 18/19.

I only saw the stats,Bartsch played only for a little while in the first set,scored a point and then got subbed after she was blocked twice?Zheng Chunlei and Rourke played at the same time?I'm a bit confused, I probably need to watch the game...

I watched the games between Shanghai x Bayi and Guangdong x Jiangsu but i wasnt able to finish both games

Who is going to qualify if Tianjin will win tie-break?

Tianjin won. So who qualified? Guangdong or Jiangsu?

Jiangsu should look to sign some middles to add more depth next season.

They had even secured their first place in the group before the match so that dosen't really matter anyway
