While Stuttgart could prevail somewhat tedious in Vilsbiburg in four sets, Schwerin needed tie-break at home against Potsdam and lost some ground against Stuttgart. Even winning in tie-break in Stuttgart would not get Schwerin to the top of the table.

According to the match report of Erfurt she might have broken her arm

Guillermo Hernandez is banned for Potsdam's next match due to his behavior at the end of Schwerin-Potsdam last weekend. IMO his 2nd assistant should be banned as well, he behaved just as bad

Again the reception for Schwerin is the weakness

And except for Drewniok's aces their own serving is quite bad as well.

I don't get why Adams and Hanke do jump serve, they have no effect at all and only make errors.

Adams is a terrible server with any technique, she also made tons of errors with jump float last season. OTOH Hanke can be dangerous once she finds her rhythm.

Me too, though choosing Hanke was ok, I think. Both of Stuttgart's OHs were constantly just pushing the ball instead of hitting.

Hanke couldn't convince me either today. She didn't involve the middles at all, but it wasn't all her fault, because the reception wasn't good.

Code
- Yes, Stuttgart had the disadvantage of flying to Ukraine and having partly a hard time there, while Schwerin could ideally prepare with no-threat home match against weak Sliedrecht - and of course, that van Gestel and Lazic have to play all the time since Channon Thompson was injured and Krystal Rivers has mostly to do so too, makes them not more fresh. I missed the energy from many players (also partly Samadan), despite we tried hard to support them. Bad thing is, that many players have to play now with NTs to try to qualify for Olympic Games, so there is no time for them of rest, which they obviously need - this general issue was already discussed many times, I know.

Victoria Foucher leaves Suhl and returns to her home club Quimper. I guess Suhl will use the extra money to hire another setter as replacement for the injured Valkova for the rest of the season, a backup setter is more important than a backup OPP IMO.
