    Final is in May. So Maja, Rasic and Boskovic would not get any rest before the Olympics.


    I don't think Maja should play the whole VNL. But I think would be important for her to play at least a few games.

    Again, Vakif lost another 5 set game recently. Too many unforced errors killed momentum. They did not have a go-to guy to carry the team in clutch time. Gabi-Haak duo are weaker than Zhu-Sloetjes duo. Even if Vakif now have one of the best setters, it's not enough for them to win.

    Yeah, it's far beyond understanding. Sometimes MVP can be awarded to a player even if her team lost. But Ebrar's performance was horrible last night, with a poor attack 29%.

    Every duo in the world are weaker than Zhu-Sloetjes... Especially that Zhu and Sloetjes had a lot of chemistry with the team and within themselves, they played together at their peak (Lonneke's peak, at least) and Zhu Ting is, well, Zhu Ting... It's first season with major changes, first game in group phase of a championship we already know that Vakif will qualify for next phase... Let them build a team first than we can make comparison and demands...

    I was finally able to watch the match between Fener and Vitra, and here are several impression:


    -Natalia played amazing. IMO, she is the greatest addition to this year's Eczacibasi squad, since Larson was noticeable getting worse year after year, and since she practically served as Motta's assistant coach, there was barely any match she did not play, noticeable dragging down the team's ceiling.


    -Mentioning Motta...how can I put this politely...sometimes he just gives off the impression of not being a very intelligent man. Biggest difference in years past between Vakifbank and Eczacibasi allowing the former to win all of the most important matches between them is not any individual player, or the squads as whole, but the respective coaches and the fact that Guidetti seems to have twice the sporting IQ of his colleague. Besides the often mentioned ill-advised dub sub at the end of each set (whose purpose is presumable to make opposing blockers think more where the spike will come from, but the advantage of having your most lethal and most reliable spiker on court will always outmatch the negative of enemy defence knowing from where the attack will most likely come from; that's just volleyball 101, but Motta seems to have been absent when they teached that particular lesson in coaching school), there's the fact he left off both Boskovic and Lloyd on bench for almost the entire 4th set, running a very real risk of having them cool off too much, and lose the fifth set when they return. Fortunately, Tijana proved reliable once again, scoring 7 points in the deciding set, and thus Vitra girls overcame not just the opponent but their own coach's strange antics.


    -Brankica, Kim and Naz all had a terrible game. Of 6 Eczacabasi matches I watched, Kim played well in only 3 of them. When will the real KYK please stand up?

    Did you see how bad reception was at that game? Naz did her best with such terrible reception line. While any of the liberos can't receive you can't expect much from the setter

    Sorry but She had some really bad moments, with some low sets.


    She is trying to play sometimes to fast so her precision is not yet their.

    But hey She is very good setter give her some time...

    How is that no one is talking about Gibby, if She had bad performance literally everyone would attack her...


    I hope She can be in right shape. Ecz needs good MB.

    Fener knew very well what meant signing Mihajlovic. Robinson is waisted once more to play a second libero role, the problem is that there's no libero at all in Fener. :aww:


    You can't play volleyball when out of 3 receivers just one can provide perfect passing.

    For Fener it would be Way better to have Fatma at court and to sign one Scoring MB as Foluke with setter that they have.


    Eda-Foluke with Naz perfect, but even if they signed Foluke now She wouldn't be used so much because of their terrible reception.



    Their is no way that Terzic would let Brankica to stay at bench before Olympics games.

    If only there was not a minor inconvenience of Foluke being heavily pregnant...
