When you say Trento, is it the man's team?

In addition to filling the slots defined by the European Ranking, National Federations will exceptionally be able to register one extra team per gender. This team will start their campaign from the 1st-3rd Rounds, with the eligibility criteria including participation in two of the last three editions of the CEV Champions League and a top-five finish in the respective national league. In the allocation of these extra slots, the order of priority will reflect the relevant European Ranking.
So if I get it right, there are 5 slots open. One for Scandicci. What about other slots?
Maybe Stuttgart?
D. Moscow can be added too . They have really nice team for next season.
It’s a pity that THY doesn’t meet the criteria
I guess none of the turkish clubs don't match with the criteria. Only Galatasaray could be but they participated in one of the three championships only. Criteria is 2 out of 3 championships.

Are they going to hire another foreigner OH or setter?
Maybe Stuttgart?
Or Schwerin: it is not decided at all, which team gets the regular spot. If the season is considered as not being played, Stuttgart would get it as still reigning champion. A difficult decision for the VBL anyway.
After what I read at last, the VBL could resort to kind of salomonical solution: they put Schwerin into CL directly and Stuttgart into qualification, because vice versa it would be not possible - Schwerin lacks enough participations at last.
Are they going to hire another foreigner OH or setter?
Moscow certainly needs another setter. They have Babeshina so far... The OH position looks better with Natalia, Krotkova and Shcherban (Kuznetsova might also be an option but her receptioin is not good). They have 3 OPP (Goncharova, Klimets, Kuznetsova)...
VBL decided, based upon some calculation, to give Schwerin Germany's regular CL spot which means they're qualified to group stage, and Stuttgart gets the additional spot which requires them to play the qualification phase. However, as expected, Stuttgart is not amused by this decision and considers playing CEV Cup instead...
ŁKS Łódź will probably play in CL qualification as another polish team. Also, Legionovia got the invitation from CEV on Thursday, however on Friday they received another email with information it was sent by mistake
According to the polish press, teams must make the decision, (whether play and which cup) until July 14.

The article from Stuttgart says 31 July
Maybe 14th July is the internal deadline for polish federation

I got an email, that they want to play CL despite qualification rounds - CEV cup would be nice too, but the CL is just the CL...
