    Meh, gio only gave her chances when the team was already about to be destroyed xd I believe she is not that bad and she can finally play relaxed this time

    This new season promises to be SO MUCH better than last one. I'm super HYPED (and it is not just because Gabi and Natalia okay, or maybe, it is :cheesy:)


    I love NT season, but i'm having withdrawals already with leagues don't starting anytime soon

    I never heard the name of that team before, but okay, Derya was that #17 from the U20 I liked. She seems so Turkey. Will raise the decibel level of any team :P

    You wouldn't know it from her serve approach, but she's a pretty girl

    Yes its normal they haven't been in VVSL for 5 seasons, though they used to be a regular. They even did quite bad at 2nd division actually lol, but they made it last season mainly thanks to Tugba and Freeman and this season they have Derya and the VakifBank yougsters + coach Dehrican, Guidetti's right hand.

    So, this Tugba is Tuğba Şenoğlu, yes? I've seen her name batted around a lot. Google Imaging reminds me I've seen her. I think last year some tournament but not this year. She hasn't really cracked the NT with full force yet. Did she have an injury? Is the consensus she would be an improvement over Hande and Ercan?

    I'm not sure she'd be an improvement over these in current form. She got benched last 2 seasons and lost a lot of her form. She used to be really good at U tournaments and also Beşiktaş untill Gio signed her and never picked her again. Regardless, I still believe in her :) her serve is next level

    Oh yeah, she's the one pope tells tragic stories about. Well this sounds good. An upstart team with upstarts and whatnots. Who are these Vakifbank youngsters, and how did they get to Yeşilyurt? (That's a cool weird name for a band team, btw)

    Tbh they are all VakifBank rejects, benchers :lol: Buket got benched for Cansu Özbay, Ayça for Gizem Örge. So they put them up for loan cause they can't put much use for them elsewhere...


    Add a little bit of Derya Cebecioglu spice to that as well as a very mediocre (but very useful (she wears goggles + still better than Gibbemeyer and Ergül lol)) experienced MB in Gözde Dal and a athletic American Opp no one speaks off in Freeman and Idk to me it sounds like a complete success story in the making :drink:

    Eczacibasi 5th is just a joke :D:D . Worst thing can happen is 3rd place but I think they will be at least in the final.

    There is no way that Eczacıbaşı will finish as 5th unless either boskovic or kim gets injured (I assume Natalia will get injured anyway at some point🤣)


    But finally you are not fanatic about Beyza anymore since you call their mbs as worse. I don't get why you underrated best local blocker Yasemin guveli while overrating mediocre Ozgenur Yurtdagulen🤔


    I don't have such high hopes from thy or aydın. They can challenge to gs for 4th position at their best

    I"m not underrating Yasemin or Beyza. 1 Beyza doesn't fit Eczacibasi imo and Yasemin will be benched ofc... Gibbemeyer-Ergül will be starters and I don't believe Beyza can shine here only in less important matches. I like Özgenur, its no secret that I like blocking MBs and they are usually silent killers. Jackson + Özgenur is what I like not just Özge.


    Also lol about Natalia :rolll:


    To me I can really see Eczacibasi flop like this tbh :teach: ofc its not 100%, just my opinion but the league has improved greatly this season and EczV really hasnt. If they didn't have Boskovic I would put them outside of top 8 :whistle:

    I will be surprised if Eczacibasi finish worse than 3rd too. I mean how can you do that when you have Boskovic? I agree on Gibbemeyer being a so so MB but I like Ergul, she is clearly an improvement compared to Busra & Merve.


    I am not that hopeful about Yesilyurt for the same reasons above. Buket is a terrible setter, I like her serves though. I am not very hopeful of Dehrican as a trainer either. What I dont get is, how did federation allow such a team when the whole team is basically Vakifbank's bench. It is almost like Vakifbank and Vakifbank B playing in the same division...The only person I will really be watching in this team is Derya, I hope she will have a good season.


    I expect big things from Aydin and THY. Aydin might indeed push GS down the ranking. THY's trainer is a joke so they might start the season good and end up terrible. We all know that Özge won't be able to finish the season, they don't have a proper opposite, Özgenur and Ceylan are failures, though I hope Özgenur will bounce back. I hope they will finish over GS though.


    For GS, the current team looks like they will fight for a spot between 4-6 but if things go bad like last season, I am sure they will make a transfer to save the team in mid season. Vasilantonaki's performance will be the most critical for GS.
