Thanks for sharing info; I really only follow 2 or 3 Pac-12 teams. Not that one!

One top-25 match on Tues. 10/29: #14 COLO ST. def WYO 3-1 (snow storm).
-
LOTS OF near upsets; #3 BAY, #6 MINN and #13 FL were taken to five sets (Minnesota at home: versus Ohio St.), but they pulled out come-from-behind wins.
-
Only two top-25 matchups tonight, Thursday 10/31. So in the WCC; #11 BYU at home against St Marys (CA.), and in the WAC; #14 COL. ST versus the Air Force.

Just finished watching the match between Penn State vs Nebraska. It was a nice match to watch with great rallies. This was the best I've seen Nebraska playing this season so far, it was a real team efford.
Hames makes or breaks the game of Nebraska. She gets impatient when it's tense or the pass isn't great. Hope she will work on that. Kubik is a good outside hitter, stable reception and good shots in attack. Schwarzenbach finally stepped up her game, also Sweet had a good weekend. Knuckles has grown in her role as libero. Great defence, only her reception is still a bit shaky when she has to cover someone. I like both middles of Penn state, Hard and Gray. They are physical players. Also Parker is a good opposite. She has good variation in her attack. White is stable as always.

Jordan Thompson 50 kills in 1 game on her Senior day. WOW!
She hits 530 on 83(!) Attempts with only 6(!) errors.
-
Gophers won 3:1 at Purdue. Was a solid Game. Not more.
Washington State beat USC in 4. Very nice to see Pia Timmer in this Game.

In the video below the NCAA Volleyball DI Selection Committee Chair explains the current top 10. It looks like:
AVCA:
#1 - TX.
#2 - PITT
#3 - BAY
#4 - WISC
#5 - STAN
#6 - MINN
#7 - NEB.
#8 - PENN ST.
#9 - Creighton
#10 MARQ.
QUITE the few disparities; I'll stick with the NCAA Selection Committee's ratings!
-
RPI:
1) BAY
2) TX
3) WISC
4) PITT
5) STANFORD
6) NEB.
7) WASH.
8).MINN
9) TX. A+M
10) FL.
VERY much closer to the NCAA committee than AVCA
-
There are other metrics besides RPI. These include: Pablo (one guy's mathematical ranking); Massey (same); and RPI Futures (projected RPIs after the season). I will be introducing the RPI Futures & Pablo models...in that order of significance to me. The dude who does the RPI Futures is kind of "out there"; so is Pablo!

Plus she plays as OH having receiving duties.
And she broke her own record! Amazing

BIG upset in the B1G Conference tonite: unranked Ohio St def #4 WIS 3-1. It is possible -- due to the disparity in rankings -- that the Badgers lost a home seed.
-
One other upset Friday night: #9 Creighton was swept, on the road, at Villanova.
